Breakfast was great. Room was ok but shower + wc terrible and bed too hard and pillow too small.

The hotel was clean, allowed us early check in and had all the basic facilities. It is placed slightly far away from the city centre but still accessible by public transport. Very economical and great for short stay.

The air conditioning sort of worked and if you have had a late night you can expect house cleaning to visit as early as 7:30 "surprise" & if you leave a Do Not Disturb sign out until after 9am then you will be lucky if they clean at all. There for 5 nights and room only properly serviced on the 2nd morning, left with wet towels which were not change because we hung them up to dry & did not leave them on the floor I was told, yet they hung bath mat back up. Service No where near as good as several other ibis budget hotels we we have used in the last 5 weeks.

Extreme cheap stay, uncomfortable and unpleasant.

Despite its name, the hotel is not in Berlin. It smells of cigarette and has no possibility for restauration in its surroundings

First night was OK. I tried and couldn’t get the code to my room for the second night in the morning. I thought therefore it didn’t change. That night, I arrived and the code had changed. I went back to the machine in the entrance. It was 21h50 when the machine froze. No one was there even though the reception is supposed to be open until 22h. I called the help button and someone from another hotel answered very nicely but since he couldn’t get in touch with anyone who could actually do something, I still had to sleep elsewhere, with my belongings stuck in a room I couldn’t get into.

Check-in procedures worked fine but I found the window open in the room (2C outside). The forced air heater worked in the room but never did provide enough heat for someone from Florida. Also, seemed I had an allergy reaction to the bedding. I did NOT sleep very well.

Room has bad smell, bedding and towels also smell bad (maybe was not clean), shower was broken.

I was visiting Berlin for a large trade fair that pushed hotel prices sky high in the city, so I found this place to be reasonably priced, but I was unprepared for how difficult it was to reach without the car. The bus that serves its street only runs hourly and only till 6 PM. Taxis are not available at the Henningsdorf train station and Uber will take 20 min to get there. It’s a long walk from the train station - 23 minutes if you hustle, which I did twice. But it’s clean and reasonably comfortable, and breakfast was sufficient. Front desk hours are very limited, and it often closes before 10 PM, but the proprietor lives on-site and can be reached by phone in an emergency. Note that the room lacks a safe and the proprietor speaks very limited English. There is no key or key card - room and front door (when front desk is closed) are unlocked by 6-digit code that you must remember.

Super staff - - so engaged, interested, helpful. Just amazing. Made it a great stay.
