Comfortable room, very nice and friendly workers. For quite an affordable room there isn't much to complain, except that the room was a bit cold even with the heat regulator on high. But overall I would go there again, especially for that price in Berlin. Cheaper and you have to share a room with strangers.

I must stress that the Ibis Budget Berlin Ost was not my first choice - it was what was available. The room is exactly what you expect from a budget hotel, but for me the shower/WC (separate) were a bit claustrofobic. The people at reception desk were always at the phone, even when I checked in. After 22:00, there’s no one, and I saw a couple having difficulties with the self check in. There’s a tram stop near the hotel, but no restaurants or cafés, except for a small Turkish bistro the other side of the street. And it’ really far from Berlin’s center
