The parking feels safe (although I think the exit is completely open?) and there is even a bike cage, so it is perfect for people travelling with a full car. The room itself was quite clean and comfortable for the price paid, although the corridor has an unpleasant smell. The receptionist, Christine, was lovely upon arrival :)

Comfort basic room for budget traveller. Although room size a bit small but still manageable to accommodate 3 people and their luggage. Basic amenities are decent for 2-star hotel.

No water bottle inside the room. The second floor of ibis budget has bathroom odor in the corridor. I stayed 1 night in ibis budget and 1 night in ibis and I couldn't see any difference between the rooms eventhough one is more expensive than the other. Breakfast ends at 10 am too soon. The person at reception did not inform me about free coffee in the breakfast room. If I had known I wouldn't have walked 10 min to the bakery on the highway

For a low budget hotel, this place was well kitted out. We stayed a few days which started to grind on me as the bunk-bed was the perfect concussion shelf for someone tall like myself. Two big complaints were no hairdryer and the male management seemed to look down at you because you were the irritating budget guest asking for the basic of things that all hotels should provide in the 21st Century. Nice restaurant, good food though and with a car, easy enough to get into downtown Montpellier.
