It would have been good to inform customers before they book a room that refugees are living there.

We've stayed at F1s before so knew what to expect, but this was far below our expectations!! The receptionist was so friendly and helpful and you really felt he was doing the best with what he had! The door code didn't work & somehow we'd got completely locked out of the room before we even got in there and only the master key would open it during our stay - meaning somebody would always have to be in the room to open it or find the receptionist. The hotel was fully booked (but strangley carpark wasn't full) so we couldn't be moved elsewhere so had to make do. Room had clean sheets but floor hadn't been swept properly & the stained sink didn't drain. In general everything felt dirty, old & tired and was probably all the original fixtures when it first opened. It was really hot day and night so had to sleep with window open as no fans. But the scores of children running around screaming outside till gone midnight (then running up & down corridors) & the man with the bad cough smoking from outside his window didn't contribute to a good night's sleep at all! Breakfast OK but no bowls for cereal & lots of people appearing from rooms with their own bowls, helping themselves & then going back to their rooms We left as soon as we could. It certainly wasn't worth the rate we paid & even if you have stayed at F1s before and think it will be OK think again. As a family we didn't feel safe. I'd honestly avoid and splash out a few more Euros to stay elsewhere!
