Dirty from the minute you walked in. Rooms un hoovered and very, very dirty. Blood and dried food on the bed covers in 1 room and cigarette burns on the covers in the other room. Not Covid standard at all. Noone wearing masks in communal corridors, no cleaning or hand sanatiser in communal areas. Felt very, very unsafe in the whole building. Avoid at all cost.

We had our holiday to France cancelled in July due to coronavirus. I contacted Accor customer services on 4 occasions to see if I could could move the booking to next year or get a voucher. They said they would pass on the message to the hotel. I contacted the hotel directly on two occasions but never received a reply. We did not stay as our holiday was cancelled. I am very disappointed about the lack of communication from the hotel about this.

COVID-19 we could come to Formula 1 and could get in touch by email or by phone.

Due to COVID-19 we could not come to Formula 1 Boulogne or Formula 1 Cambrai for that matter, and could get in touch by email or by phone! I was told by Accor Customer Service to get in touch with both Formula 1 Cambrai and Boulogne to cancel our trips and ask for voucher to the value of our stay. I eventually managed with Cambrai, booking reference JCKDNVCS (though I am still waiting for the vouchers!), but have heard nothing in reply to emails from Formula 1 Boulogne or manages to get through on the telephone, booking reference JCQDCCSC I am sorry to say that this is not what I have come to expect from Accor and it’s many hotels!! Not at all happy with the service or care provided by Accor Customer Services!

As you may have realised due to the undisturbed sheets and the non-check-in, we did not visit as we could not travel due to the French Governments understandable blockade on our travel. If you are able a refund would be appreciated, but if not, please send our payment to the relevant health services in this time of Crisis. Good luck and hopefully will see you when the dust has settled!

Your hotel staff are very professional and my room was clean,comfortable and warm. I had a dog with me and I think they helped by not locating other guests too close which kept her relaxed. I think your hotel is value for money.

quiet,clean,comfortable,inexpensive & a welcome even at 1 am after late arrival; I had no reservation , but was met at the door & given a room within a few minutes. really hot shower even at 1 am. Breakfast was also excellent with superb selection of food.

I've used F1 Hotels for a stopover when travelling to France several times. I was impressed at this hotel by the friendly and helpful staff at Reception. They couldn't be faulted. I knew the facilities (shared bathrooms, prefabricated hotel rooms and furniture) were minimal and accept this for the price. The location was slightly intimidating (industrial park) but convenient for the autoroute. I was disappointed by two things. First, the smell of cigarette smoke in the room (my clothes smelled of smoke after the stay). Second, the bathrooms needed to be refurbished- stained toilets (that I used) and a shower which was smelly and has a showerhead that should have been replaced. Prospective guests should bear in mind the trade-off of price to facilities when booking.

F1s are generally useful but...

Was unable to get there in time so stayed in Orleans in anothet F1. Though I use F1s all over France, they are looking a bit old and shabby these days - they need a good investment to bring then up to scratch. The are a good concept for a quick overnight stay on an autoroute, however their heavy use by lorry drivers in some locations affects the experience negatively (noise and smells etc). Also the toilet seats are usually speckled with drops of urine - you need to brainstorm a solution to this rapidly.

Breakfast was awful. No choice. Expected French foods with some choice. Other HF1 offer fantastic choices like croissants, pain au chocolat, fruit, yoghurts, ham, cheese. €3.50 for a piece of bread and jam and a coffee that tasted disgusting was awful. Ive used HF1 for many years. But will look to stay elsewhere if they are not consistent throughout all hotels. There should be the SAME breakfast all all the hotels. Staff were friendly and hotel clean.

We arrived late and was met by a member of staff who unlocked the door for us and checked us in. Check in was perfunctory which was satisfying. The room was basic but exactly as the images on the website showed. What the website doesn't embrace is the still evident smell of heavy smoking throughout the hotel. The shower rooms were clean and functional, the toilets however left a lot to be desired. Having not seat as such, just a rim, and the toilet itself being made from GRP where the surface is breaking up just left the concept of the rim being dirty and unhygienic. The soundproofing is terrible and you can hear all activity in the corridors from within your room.

Good value for an overnight or short stay. The night time staff was working till the small hours of the morning topping up vending machines, putting in toilet rolls and welcoming guests. The hotel is clean but starting to show its age, and is difficult to find at night.

I've stayed at this hotel before as a stop-over before returning to England, so I knew it would be a rock-bottom facilities at a low price. Nevertheless I was surprised at how jaded and scruffy the hotel had become. As a building it has not aged well and our room like much of the building had a musty smell. Toilets and showers had things missing or were shut. It was a bit grim.
