Bed comfort and cleaniness was great. Room requested was non smoking BUT previous occupant had been smoking in the room. Corridor odour was pretty bad. Reception staf was impeccable.

The hotel is not clean, persons working there are not available, and not friendly, and I had to wait 45 minutes at reception before lady came (it was 19h00).

Dear Sir/Madam, Last week my partner and I decide to visit Marseille with our children for a quick weekend break. Knowing that we wouldn’t arrive until very late we booked 2 rooms at the hotelF1 Marseille East Saint Menet Hotel under the name of my partner – ISABEL R.. After a 5 hour drive from Geneva and finding our way through Marseille we arrived, tired and very pleased to have found our hotel. The young man at the reception found our booking and gave us the codes to our rooms – 2 rooms one on each side to the corridor which is what we expected as we wanted to make sure the family was kept together. However when I went to open the first room I discovered it was already occupied. I spoke to the reception and he went with me to open the second room. This was also occupied. The person in the second room told us that the two rooms were occupied by his family – when he was told that the rooms had been booked under that name RAMOS – he told us his name was also RAMOS – Carlos RAMOS. After some investigation your receptionist discovered that the people occupying our rooms had been given the rooms by his colleague who worked the day shift and who had clearly simply seen the surname RAMOS and gave our rooms to the other family. After an extraordinary length of time on the phone your receptionist found 2 rooms for my family rooms number 123 and 105 – on the same floor but in different parts of the hotel. At 2am we finally were in our rooms – 2.5hours later than we originally planned. This was an appalling start to our weekend break and meant we spent the weekend exhausted. Please explain how this happen and more importantly why it took so long to decide to find us alternative rooms. We are plan another visit for a week to Marseille but this time I don’t think we will be stay at an F1hotel. Christopher P.
