The room wasn't cleaned (at all) in the ways expected from a "hotel", but new sheets and easy check-in made it worthy of a rest stop for a long journey. Breakfast was dirt cheap (2 euros for 2 people) but almost not worth the money. Self cleaning shared toilets, showers but no towels in the room (was expected, we had our own, but didn't want to use the facilities) and close by the Autovía = quick stop with no other purpose than sleep. We did however get to sleep despite the thin walls. Pet friendly, only 5 euros (the elderly gentleman at the desk gave it for free) for our dog to stay as well.

Booked a room through the internet. Upon arrival, the receptionist couldn't find the reservation in the system at first. After a long wait (30+ minutes), receptionist was able to find the reservation, after making several calls. After, I had to pay an additional €2.55. This was fine for me, it just was somewhat strange and not very transparent that I had to pay some random fee. All in all, took me 45 minutes between entering the hotel and entering my room, which was far too long.

Stay with family on our way to southern France and location seemed convenient. No high expectations but hotel/hostel dirty and not well maintained. Used not clean smelly bed sheets, but since we arrived late nobody to complain to... first and last time we stayed in F1.

A good night's sleep

Arrived about 10 pm with my 9 yr old daughter.The zircon was broken and v noisy so had to change rooms. TV was broken in the new room. Only one toilet was working out of all of them! Not the usual standard....

Room smelling like ashtray

We specifically asked for a non-smoking room and the room was smelling like ashtray and not very clean. Toilets at night were smelling like pee.

The room was clean but the smell of cigarette smoke was everywhere. Toilets and showers were dirty and in need of repair and no soap in dispensers.

Staff were very pleasant and all was what we have come to expect from this particular F1. If you're expecting luxury or anything other than basic, you wouldn't stay at an F1. They are terrific value for travellers who want an cheap overnight stay. There are loads of improvements that could be made but then the price would be higher. I do wish it were possible to book a no-smoking room in advance, though. I'm told you can but I can't see how!

Cheap in every sense

For the small price one should also not expect much more but everything has a very run down touch to it. I stayed also many years ago in the hotel and I have the impression that nothing was done to keep it up ever since (except there was a newer tv now). But even for such low price I would expect that there would be some upkeep of of paint and especially toilets and showers which didn’t look like it. There were no towels provided. Maybe this was written down somewhere in the booking process but I did not notice it so if it is intentional that there are no towels please highlight this more. If it was unintentional then they were missing in my room. I do like the concept of such cheap basic hotel when someone has to travel a long journey so I would be happy to try again but the status of the hotel as described above makes me think a second time.

Dirty hotel, llbed badd

Room was dirty an dusty. Matrass was thin en the bed was uncomfortable. Was a big bump in the middle. Upon arrival a guy ran up to us and asked for sigarrettes, he was not even staying there. In the middle of the night somebody started screaming and throwing things in his room. Will it sleep here again if I have no other choice.

Smelly, unclean room with the most disgusting showers and toilets I have experienced in many years of travelling

A dark and dingy hotel, with smelly rooms and dirt on the floor (clumps of hair) and a dirty sink. The "duvet" stank and had numerous holes in it. The "shared" toilets were unclean and my children refused to use them. The showers were even worse, the first one I went in had human excrement in there and the second one was filthy and had used sanitary products on the floor. Didnt sleep well as being near the reception, the sound of doors opening and closing as people used the toilets etc were loud. One of the worst hotel stays I have had, a really low ending to an otherwise great trip to France.

I have stayed at F1 hotels for over 5years and this was poor. The rooms we were allocated were not clean and had a very strong smell of cigarettes as did the bed linen.
