The room is much too noisy. I felt like I was sleeping in the railway station. That’s a shame to rent those bedrooms if they can’t improve insulation. For sure it is well located when you need to catch a train but I recommend to chose among the hotels around if you want to sleep well.

Once again we needed a transfer between the SNCF and CDG. so we booked our usual hotel and that dd not disappoint. This time we were able to check-in on the internet and that saved some time. The room was as usual was very comfortable and clean so we had no grumbles at all. We had an early "express" breakfast (there were plenty of other guests also taking that option) so that our transfer to CDG was on time. We sampled a restaurant in the local area for our evening meal and we had plenty of choices close to the Gare. As usual - a good stay.

Check in on arrival was perfect. After a long journey it was great to be able to register and get into our room within minutes. The staff are brilliant (Nino & Paola) on reception could not be more helpful. The hotel is ideally situated plenty of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets. Paris is such an easy city to walk around so you are able to get to all the major tourist attractions by walking from the hotel. If you get tired a return to the hotel by Uber is very reasonable. Rooms are small, but very clean, with very little hanging space for clothes - so living out of suitcases is the go. The bathroom is adequate and the shower head is good. Unfortunately, the previous occupants to our room allowed water from the bathroom to flow into the carpet in the bedroom so the room smelt. The cleaner Jorgiana provided extra bath mats to soak up water in the bathroom. Although in a busy area the room was quiet at night since windows were double glazed. Very close to the Gare de Lyon but a 91 bus runs frequently to all stations. Only downside was the smell in the room for our four day stay.

We needed a hotel near Gare de Lyon train station and picked this! Right next door, a 1 minute walk to enter the station! Also quick easy check in and a nice clean room!
