We booked a one night birthday getaway for my husband. The hotel is lovely, room was L. and comfortable, the bar is great and location excellent for exploring the city. Unfortunately, after checking out we noticed our credit card had been charged $100 more than our receipt displayed, and we were charged that wrong amount TWICE. Contacted the hotel and left a message regarding the overcharge but have not yet heard back. (We have since contacted our credit card company to dispute the incorrect charge.) The financial snafu definitely left us with a negative opinion, which is a shame since we’ve stayed here before and really like the hotel overall. Hopefully, the issue will be resolved and we will feel comfortable and confident to return.

We have stayed at this hotel 2-3 times per year for several years. We really like the location for doing theater, and lots of shopping within walking distance. We will stay there again next Spring.

We arrived at 9am which is obviously before the usual check in time. We were told by the staff at the reception that our assigned room is not ready yet, but he also proceeded in looking for a room that is already available so we can check in early. He was able to find one, and this really made our day as we were able to bring in our luggages and have a bit of sleep before we do our sightseeing (we had a 6am flight so woke up really early that day). I cannot thank the staff enough. Unfortunately I did not get his name.
