ibis London Docklands Canary Wharf 3 stars

It was a nice sized room. Bathroom was adequate, the shower was nice and the lighted mirror in the bathroom was a great touch!

We were let down by our hotel we had booked. Francesca and team couldn't do enough for us 8 adults. She sorted rooms out for us all and even gave us the option to view the rooms first. We cannot thank her enough. Clean rooms and lovely comfortable beds. Definitely be booking with Ibis again

All Accor customer service was not good as they mixed up the hotels. But ibis Canary Wharf managed to accommodate us breakfast was nice rooms clean and tidy

When checking in, the receptionist/employee was clearly having a bad day and decided to take it out on me in front of my partner. She said that I should know to have a particular type of ID on me, and demanded that I send an email to her. She told me the late check out that I paid extra for was subject to availability, to which I said that I already gave my card details and paid for this, at which point she said I should know that the payment does not go out until we have checked in. This does not change the fact that I was still paying for this. I then asked her what email address she wanted me to email, to which she said this is why she is giving me the business card, which makes it clear who I should email. Very rude employee indeed. Additionally, the shower would randomly every minute spew out piping hot water and so this should be checked.

On arrival was greeted by the receptionist who appeared to be very grumpy (but not rude) - perhaps need some more customer service training. Bar person - didn't seem to know the bar stock (but did try). Housekeeping. Glass in bathroom had water in it (but was covered by cardboard cover, there was water in the kettle too (aren't these things checked?). One of the bedside tables was 'sticky' - just needed a wipe down. These are things which I'd expect just to be done - think your staff may need some more training / checking.
