Couple of nights in the Novotel Tainui in Hamilton . Nice hotel. good service , decor in new rooms is particularly good. the only place to stay in Hamilton really. Restaurant was good but not as good as sone otter local offerings maybe eat out if you want something special.

To Management: Location room and views of river were great. We have been Accor members for many years using Accor facilities in many countries including previous stays in Hamilton. Check in was ok. Free drink vouchers were used at the bar the service was good. Evening meal in restaurant: The entree and main meals were ordered at the same time. The entree was delivered and eaten plates were cleared. After waiting some 40 minutes for the main course I chased up the staff to find out that the order was not placed with the kitchen. Shambolic to say the least. Breakfast was similar shambles people were being accepted into the restaurant with no tables available. Tables that may have been used were not clean. Again Shambolic. At check out I rang and asked to have the car bought up for our departure this did not happen. Once in the lobby which was not busy I again had to ask twice to have the car bought up from the parking basement finally this happened. Lobby service was shambolic staff asleep at the helm. Generally the service was poor and the staff appeared to not really give a dam. Your business in Hamilton is not a patch on what it was like pre covid. Covid can no longer be used as an excuse for poor service in NZ. How say you in management are you happy when you piss customers off ? Note: We will not be back to this sleepy hollow. Kia ora Caleb It has been a disappointing read of your feedback to start with at least and an embarrassing one for us to fall short on our service delivery. I must reassure you that this is not our usual standards. Please accept our sincerest of apologies. Sharing your feedback with the team, we could have done so much better to remedy most of your service experience, most importantly communicated better. It has been a greater learning for our team, particularly around the new team members that has joined us, as we continue to have resource availability challenges however there is no excuse for the wait time and general lack of attitude.
