Anniversary with my wife and spent the weekend in Hamilton . The unit was very spacious and was nice and clean . Ordered room service , was disappointed with the food as it didn't seem it be very fresh The staff were very helpful and front desk was very efficient when booking in and arriving Enjoyed the quick exit on the Sunday morning when leaving , thank you

We stayed in Deluxe King bedroom. Very tidy. We are assuming because of COVID-19 this is the reason there were no mini bar snacks. Stock up. Friendly staff . Check out the parking. We were able to park by front entrance whilst we checked in and took bags up to our rooms.

We enjoyed our stay - very handy spot in town to walk anywhere for dinner, movies, etc. The room was nice, bed comfortable. But there were a couple of hitches- Had to call Housekeeping twice - first no milk in fridge for making tea. Then later, for some shampoo - not re-stocked. One thing that was a bit annoying was the lack of parking for guests.

An 8.30pm arrival at reception, Easter Sunday, meant a short wait behind other guests checking in. Received an acknowledgement re waiting patiently from the receptionist which wasn't necessary but a nice welcoming comment to start the checking in proceedings. Once keys were given and the confirmation of complimentary parking established we were able to settle into our well resourced room, pleased to partake of the complimentary Accor Plus welcoming dish plus the complimentary drinks at the bar. We wallowed in the idea of being special guests. Moving freely in, around and out of the hotel during our stay was also a comforting experience, always greeted by smiling, friendly staff. From all our experiences here at the Novotel Hamilton Tainui, this has become a natural process....feeling like a part of the whānau and being welcomed again like a whānau member. This was very noticeable from two of the serving staff in particular, during the buffet breakfast on the day of our check out. For the one night stay the price was very reasonably affordable. i booked by direct phine call to IBIS. We love IBIS at NO TINE was I told while doing booking on phone that ibis was closwd so when we arrivws theee we were shockes. I was about to call and see i had email from Novotel. So i felt mislead. Receptionist was lovely and arranged valet parking despite having insisted it was full! The restaurant service in evwnjnv was very good UNTIL.the mains qere swrved. Then nOthing. Shocking! Meal had wrong sauce andnqas cold but no swrvice to provide opportunity to fix. Room was ok but no instructions how to turn noisy air off so very little sleep

I stayed with you a few weeks ago and got your staff to book my next stay but they must have forgotten the car so this stay I had to park at Skycity which was really annoying as being a business traveller one of the reasons I stay with you is this facility.

I really enjoyed staying here. Staff were friendly and helpful. The amenities were nice and clean and tastefully done for a Hotel. The food in the restaurant was deleicious, I am not a very big eater, so felt guilty leaving half of my plate behind, perhaps smaller options or half sized options would be an idea.

The services we experienced (at reception, at room service, at the bar and at breakfast were very professional, warm and welcoming. The room (overlooking the panoramic view of the Waikato River) was very comfortable with the standard amenities - air conditioning and heating; tea, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar milk, an iron and ironing board, a box of tissues, shampoo, conditioning, show gel, body lotion and a hair dryer available. The best was having a nice room to stay in. The least liked was having to check out!
