I have been to your wonderful motel 3 times now and am pleasantly satisfied with your such great service , very helpful staff and upgraded units Upon arrival my wife was pleasantly greeted and was instantly recognized as a Platinum member and was personally greeted with minimal waiting , thank you to the front desk staff . Upon entering our unit was also pleasantly surprised with a welcoming greeting card with some nice personalised chocolates , thank you management for that thoughtfulness Will continue to use your service and my wife enjoys the great service and great motel

Carpet was dirty stains everywhere. Walls all marked up . Only one shampoo and conditioner for 3 guests fridge wasnt working. They did bring another but our deserts all melted by then . No parking sold the deal for me . Wont be returning . AND THE FIRST TIME EVER IN OUR LIVES WE WERE TOLD TO PAY A BOND !!!!! WE HAVE TRAVEL AND STAYED ALL OVER AND NEVER TOLD TO PAY A BOND BEFORE .... PRETTY RUDE REALLY.....

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. At Novotel, we strive to provide a superior service experience for every customer; therefore your feedback is very important to us. Please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to address the problem and prevent future occurrence. Because of the nature of the business where guests can charge goods and services back to the room throughout their stay a bond is required to secure the funds for these items. Should you wish to avoid paying a bond we do not require bonds from ALL Loyalty members of a silver status and higher or for guests who book direct and check in online. I must detest that you were profiled or labelled. All guests are required to pay a bond unless a loyalty member or checked in online. This is also to assist in reducing credit card fraud as it is an opportunity to sight the credit card and ensure details match. This is for the protection and peace of mind for of our guests as much as it is for the hotel. The current climate of the hotel industry has changed drastically post Covid where our market has changed form most guests travelling by bus to all guests travelling by car. This means we no longer have a paring capacity to accommodate all guests parking needs. We refer guests to parking buildings nearby and are working on further parking solutions. Our website and third party websites clearly state parking is subject to availability and is a first in first serve basis. I am very sorry to hear about the altercation that occurred in the corridors during your stay. Police were called immediately and the the altercations was ended as soon as it was brought to the managers attention. We appreciate your sharing your concerns, and it is our hope that you will give us the opportunity to better serve you in the near future. Food average, noisy out of control guests led to lack of rest. No security at night that dealt to problem professionally. Front desk staff at check in were I'll informed and failed to explain stay package that was booked. ie parking that was pre booked and hours of restaurant for breakfast .

I really had an average experience staying at your hotel, loved the facilities and services from your staff, however had an incident where another guest assaulted my partner outside our room at 6am and the cops got involved but we didn’t press charges against the guest at the hotel when we should have because we didn’t know who he was, it was our first time staying there and we came all the way from Auckland, my partner was left with serious bruising to his face, would there be any way you’d be able to ensure this doesn’t happen to any other guests who stay at the hotel or to prevent a situation like this from happening again

It is extremely unfortunate to hear what happened to you and your partner during your stay. I do hope your partner has had a quick recovery, I am so sorry that such a thing happened in our hotel. Because Hotels are frequented by different people throughout the public areas it is difficult to control what someone may do at a given moment. The police were called out and were in a position to press charges if you were wanting to as the Police were in a position to find out who both parties were. I would recommend getting in touch with the Police if this is something you would like to pursue.
