This stay was pretty frustrating. I changed to this hotel from Swissotel to save some money. While it was half the price, I'd say it was far less than half the comfort and overall pretty poor value. I'd rather have spent the extra money, in hindsight. My shower door didn't open enough for me to comfortably get in. It didn't _close_ properly, leaving to a wet and slippery floor, yet didn't have enough clearance to put a towel/mat down. The fridge compressor was so loud I had to unplug it in the middle of the first night and kept it unplugged the whole time (I mean MEGA loud -- it woke me up 4-5 times). The white light from the wall mounted TV (while off) was glaringly bright in the middle of the night, so I had to unplug this also. The keycard was extremely unreliable (and every morning and night, the elevators were filled with people sharing this frustration, missing their floors unable to get their card to read). If staying on a street with 6 massage parlours/brothels is a draw, then the location is ideal, but otherwise I had very big hotel envy for my colleagues and spent my trip feeling resentful and regretful.

Abcd Friends - Confirmed reviews ALL

Having stayed here several times before, I was disappointed this stay. Lifts have always been a huge problem in this hotel, and with only one working it was completely untenable trying to get in and out if the place. Coupled with a staff member bashing on my door an hour before my pre-arranged late check out (defeating the purpose) I'm fairly convinced there has been a change in management. And not for the better. Disappointing.
