Staff were kind and accommodating. Rooms were not too clean, there were obvious dust on the table and side tables. Computer chair were filthy and smelly. Poor TV reception, but wifi was awesome! Driveway to the parking from the main lobby was very narrow. Otherwise, we had a pleasant day!

Didnt stay too long, checked in after 12am and left before 7am. Spent most of my time sleeping. Only annoying part was having to wait to be let into the hotel, then tried calling but no answer. After the 4th call, got a answer and door was opened.

This hotel has almost no fault. Staff are professional and friendly, they look after guests, especially Accor members very well. I like the room, big, airy and clean.

I check in for one night with family and that’s when they tell me no food is available during our stay. Should have told me over the phone when I booked. Pillows were old soft no shape - terrible to sleep on Not a great experience at all

I’ve chosen the Mercure because I’ve already stayed in dozens of hotels from Accor in business trips, and usually all hotels follow the same standards in terms of rooms and cleanliness, but the Mercure Parramatta was and awful experience, with premisses lacking minimum maintenance and cleanliness. I’ve even found a bedbug walking in the carpet and my wife’s got two bites in her arm. After two nights we’ve checked out and moved to Rydges in Parramatta which showed to be much better. I’ll not consider the Accor hotels in Australia for future trips and I’m considering making a formal complaint about the bedbugs in the room, because I had my 4 years old son, and my 5 months old baby with us, and they could have been bite.

Room was tidy and clean and the hotel is quite central to many places without being too busy. Shops just across the road makes it very convenient.

Such happy and welcoming staff, nothing was a problem for them. Whilst we haven’t stayed here for some time due to the COVID shut down, it was the usual good accomodation with nice staff in a great location.

The location was good. Staff were friendly. The room was a bit disappointing. It tested high for Meth amphetamines. Didn’t sleep that well after this knowledge.

started very noisy rooms noisy rooms next door and all down the hall. Once staff were notified was immediately rectified by a change of rooms which made a much more pleasant relaxing and quiet stay

Came for a stay to see family. Ended up staying in and getting room service. The air-conditioning very noisy but necessary as hot in the rooms. The room service wasn't very nice either my husband had the beef burger and said it was inedible.. frozen patties frozen bun no enjoyable for the cost. Lamb was very dry and chewy. The beds and rooms were comfortable enough and roomy so good for a night or two but given the time of year and everything going on it would of been nice to have abit more effort. Was impressed with free parking and wine for members

Reception staff were in friendly and vague. Checked out with the hour of checking in as I had an emergency at home to attend to. No empathy shown or part refund offered in fact the receptionist said nothing, as I handed the key back. Island women at reception with flower in her hair. Tacky!! Not friendly typical of Polynesian women not a good front desk image.

The room had no toilet paper The room had a dining table but no chair The floors didn't appear to be very clean The room was just outside of the lifts and was very noisy The duty manager did apologise and offered some free drinks on check out

Check-in was painful. 3 people queued before me, 2 people being served at the counter and still took 25 minutes until I checked in. Grateful I checked in online or it would’ve been longer. Took room keys to find my room number had not been written on the wallet. Back to desk and fixed quickly. Parking was a bonus especially around parramatta. Unfortunately, the next morning 10am, there’s a knock at the door, I answer and am asked if I’m checking out and I say isn’t check out 11am as that is what the instructions say. I’m told yes it is and he leaves. I check out at 10:55 through express and within 20 minutes I am notified by my bank of a $32 charge on my credit card. I call the hotel and enquire what I’ve been charged for and after 5 minutes of being on hold I am told they will reverse it but no explanation is provided. Location was good.

Overall very good, room spacious and bathroom had a bath which is a bonus. One draw back was being unable to dine in the restaurant and having it order room service. Staff were friendly and welcoming
