Very clean and tidy Come and go with no hassle and free parking Had to get more pillows but was easily sorted However a couple of small maintenance issues Sink tap runs hot when on cold and visa versa plus it needs screwing down as very loose Kettle needs replacing as switch does not stay on to boil but apart from that would stay here again

On suite was not clean. Only a small towell provided. The cleaners in the morning 9am started banging on my door which woke me up. Bed was uncomfortable. Will not use any ibis again

Awful I was given the wrong room key as it was already occupied. I entered the room and there was a couple doing "adult things" Both of us were equally embarrassed The hotel have me a new room and told me the room was free of charge. I'm fact I was charged I rang for a refund, the call was via an Indian call centre. They could not give me one immediately so a manager rang me back a few days later. I couldn't take the call. They never rang back. Please can someone contact me. I have not had a refund

Motel type establishment. Ideal for our purposes. Fairly close to city and nearby restaurant, museum, etc. Hotel facilities were restricted due to covid 19 and hotel had just recently re-opened, so no hot breakfast in morning but a continental style was provided along with hot drinks.

The room we stayed in was 27 and the day we arrived I found the carpet wet. I assumed this was because it had possibly been cleaned. After showering and being out all day Sunday came back and the carpet was soaked. This was reported. Outside the door the ground was covered with cigarette butts, not nice.

Air fresheners are placed over the bed which is not good for when sleeping I would suggest you put them over the tv area. Also the grass area seemed to have a lot of cigaret end lying around usually there is nothing about

The price didnt reflect the rooms or the food

Bar food very poor selection and outdated, bar prices expensive, kept awake all night by very rowdy guests. I made a complaint in the morning and just got a sorry, found out later that I was not the only person to do so. The staff are really nice and friendly and the above is not their fault.

The hotel rooms and reception dining area is quite old and below ibis quality. The rooms are not properly sealed, cold air leaking through doors and windows. Window glass sealing is bad and felt cold. The room has a old style brick heater. Toilet has not heater. Flush did not work properly.... needed 2 to 3 flushes. The approach to rooms hallway were dirty and looked more like a uncleaned area. People smoking near rooms , quite noisy and rough neighbours. Good and helpful helpful reception staff. Overall not worth the money. I would not stay next time.

Check in was easy. Room looked nice and as expected. However there was not good soundproofing in the room. I checked the windows to make sure everything was closed as well. During the night there was some extremely noisy people, with one person shouting and screaming. Thankfully it didn't last long but it did disturb my sleep. The fact that all staff are in a separate building, all the rooms face outdoors and there is not good soundproofing to the rooms does not help. None of this is clear from your website either. I had an exam the next day and so the noise was very unwelcome.

We have always had a good stay at this hotel, rooms are of a good size, clean, super bathrooms and the Staff are usually exceptionally helpful. The food in the restaurant is always lovely, my only complaint would be that there were no Brioche buns for the burgers as advertised (only sesame seed buns which I shouldn't eat).

Over-charged and uncomfortable room

The price shown was £55, outside the hotel, yet I was charged around £87 for first night and £67 for the other 2. When I raised my concern I was told that was what was being charged. I felt ignored and maltreated. Then the heating did not warm the room pro-early and I was bitten while sleeping - which I presume were bedbugs. A totally dissatisfying experience. I won’t be stopping there again, not recommend the hotel.

In regards with the sign with the prices it is clearly stating that prices are starting from £55. I have investigated your allegation and the initial reservation was made for 2 nights with the price of £67. You have requested the third night one day before the check in and the price was different because the rates are subject to change depending on demand. I am very sorry to hear that the heat in your room was not up to your expectation, please accept my apologies. However, the reception staff would have been able to assist you in this matter by providing you with an extra heater, but it has not been reported. In regards with the allegation of having bed bugs in our room, it has never been the case in our hotel. In addition, we had the inspection at the beginning of February and the report shows no trace of any bed bugs which also can be documented. I am really sorry that you had a bad experience in our hotel and I wish you give us another chance to better serve you in the future. Had a room around the back, not very well lit, did not feel safe as a lone female in my room. There was also flooding in the carpet that squelched when I walked on it and part of the bathroom fell off from around the sink.

Overall nice. But toilet flush was not working, room locked out many times with the key not responding. Nice Breakfast with variety of options, with Cold and Hot foods. Structure is very old though, stairs and pavements are a mess.
