This hotel was a last minute book for a half way point stay for an event the next day. For the last minute price, we could not complain one bit! Free parking available, late night check in as we travelled down after work which is perfect for us! Clean and modern rooms. Plugs throughout, which was essential!! Ease of access to ground floor room, which we parked outside of! Comfy bed, great bathroom! If I was to say anything negative about this accommodation, it would be the amount of midges that were outside the room, but due to weather this could not be helped so we just kept windows shut! And no air conditioning, but for the price it was fine as we usually take a fan to our accommodation anyway! Thank you Ibis!!

This was my first time of staying at an ibis in the UK for a long time. having had several stays in Europe over the last few years on holiday driving in France and Business trips The staff were helpful and polite, compared to the my last stay in a budget hotel the room felt small and one of the hottest week's in the UK no AC or Fan available, some parts of the hotel need updating in places, but maybe after a long time of not being used that could be accepted. after completing the precheck in on line and setting up a preauthorization, at check in I was asked to pay and that they didn't get notes of the preauthorization or my online check in bit disappointed but then may be its with just starting up agene

I booked and paid for my stay on line. I could have stayed with my son who lived a mile away, but decided to support local business. Big mistake they wanted a passport or drivers licence for me to book in, it did not tell us this on line or in are email from you. I dont drive and i dont bring my passport , so by pure chance my husband had his taxi badge. So i almost lost my holiday that had been paid for in advance. Neighbours were very loud ,which ment i got very little sleep,i do know you cant do much about other people making a noise.

Always a good location for me however I was told I needed phone identification and have never been asked for this every time I have stayed there, then I wasn’t allowed to check in unless I left a £50 cash deposit, on my confirmation email I was told I only needed the card I used to book my stay

Room was clean and nicely prepared. Staff courteous and friendly. Sadly, there was litter in the carpark and surrounding grass areas where people had discarded rubbish from their cars.

Nice and friendly staff always there to help or assist. Rooms are small but cover all your basic requirements. Beds are large and comfortable. It is also nice and quiet away from the city centre and on the main ring road.

Motel type establishment. Ideal for our purposes. Fairly close to city and nearby restaurant, museum, etc. Hotel facilities were restricted due to covid 19 and hotel had just recently re-opened, so no hot breakfast in morning but a continental style was provided along with hot drinks.

Refurbish needed.

Overall nice. But toilet flush was not working, room locked out many times with the key not responding. Nice Breakfast with variety of options, with Cold and Hot foods. Structure is very old though, stairs and pavements are a mess.

The hotel block is not very old as far as I am aware of.However, I understand that the style of the hotel is not suitable for all our guest's preferences.
