The rooms are quite old, but were generally clean Our heater was not working and when we asked staff about it: - First they said they'd send someone - Then they said the hotel was fully booked and couldn't move us - Then they said the person that took care of it was arriving at any minute, but refused to give me his contacts - Then they moved us to a new room I understand covid has created complications for all of us, but this can't be an excuse for extremly poor customer treatment

Very satisfied wth friendliness and very helpful staff, excellent anti covid precautions, and clean and well seperated room. Food could have been a little more exciting, but then I am a vegetarian, so it is my fault, really. I felt very safe and well looked after for my one night stay..

We used this hotel before catching the ferry to Spain the next day and found it very conveniently located, with some green spaces nearby where we could walk our 2 dogs. Unfortunately, due to some very inconsiderate guests, we had a sleepless night. These people were partying until 4 in the morning and seemed oblivious to the fact that other guests did not share their enthusiasm for being up all night!

We stayed in this hotel only for one night as we were collecting a car from a garage nearby next morning. We arrived late in evening and getting to our room was straight forward as we had already checked in online. Room was what we expected, clean and quiet.

On booking on line we booked and paid for breakfast. On checking in on line we discovered that breakfast was a packed takeaway. On arriving at the hotel we were invited to pay an extra £2 per head per day for a cooked breakfast. This we did making clear our dissatisfaction. The breakfast was a hot drink and plate of cooked breakfast. On day two both plates were running with water. We did not bother to complain, but none of this was really acceptable or to Accor standards. They could easily have done a tabe service as in a restaurant.

We’ve stayed in this hotel many times stretching back over 16 years as we visit family and was really looking forward to our recent stay as a walk down memory lane... and it was definitely that, but not for all the right reasons! We were well impressed by the changes to the reception & restaurant area and general outside look to this building - it looks really modern and inviting. Such a pity that the same couldn’t be said for accommodation block. Apart from a new bed and a new lamp lightbulb that was so bright that I could operate by it, the rest of the building looked exactly the same as we remember it ...going back 16 years. It looks tired, shabby, old fashioned, grubby and worn out. It’s put us off staying again until we know yr accommodation has been upgraded to match the rest of the hotel
