Stayed in this hotel for 5 nights and I was extremely thankful I stayed in this wonderful property. My main highlight was the wonderful the food and beverage team, honestly they made me want to extend my stay every day. Kim - the amazing team leader; she was just so amazing I do not have words to express how happy I went down every evening to have a good chat with her. She went out of her way to make me a wonderful mocktail and helped me get some oysters on day which we didn’t have it on the menu. Honestly you are the best. And wonderful Lucie during breakfast - thank you so much for making me happy every morning when I was down there with all smiles.A very special thank you also go to Lucy, Carlos, Macala (Apologies if I got the name spelling wrong) and Nicole. You were the best staff ever. Also, I need to mention the wonderful housekeeping team who was full of smiles (I really liked the service note Mon left me when she serviced my room). I sincerely pass my regards to Walker from reception - you are quite genuine with your customer service with smiles. And also thank you for keeping me in the same room despite me booking different room categories while extending - saved me a lot of time from packing and unpacking. I think I need to thank the PM Male Assistant Manager for that. (Apologies I couldn’t get your name for the review). I will come stay again for sure. Thank you so much for making my stay so memorable.

It is always frustrating when you check in and are told, that will be $35 extra to have another bed in the room. I had booked for one adults and two children and there was nothing about an extra cost. At check in they assumed the three of us would sleep in the bed together! Then another cost for parking the car. Bit frustrating.

That must have been an unpleasant surprise :(. Parking charges are pretty standard though in Queenstown due to their limited availability. And we take care to keep our website updated with the cost. The hotel is located very close to the center of town. Our room was fantastic - very spacious with good facilities. Think about paying a bit extra for a lake view if you plan on relaxing in your room a bit. We didn’t and the views from rooms on the other side of the building are non existent in comparison to the amazing lake views.

Had another excellent stay at this property.....professional staff who are friendly & attentive. Very MGallery with European styling and boutique atmosphere. So close to everything it makes the perfect place to stay for a ski holiday or Queenstown visit.

As a family of four, we love this hotel for it's location and spacious rooms. We love to book an alpine suite with balcony interconnecting to a king room so we all have space in our own little apartment. The views are beautiful over the lake. The rooms are a step up from your usual hotel room. The interior design is warm and quiet with plenty of room and storage. There are lovely woollen throws to snuggle up on the big puffy couch to watch a movie. A dining table gives room for an office or sit down meal. Lovely lamps cast a cosy feel for the evening. We enjoyed the spa pools after a big day skiing which was just perfect hidden away amongst green hedging. The staff were always very courteous and helpful with assisting us anytime we needed. We used the shared laundry which was easy and functioned well. We have stayed here now for the past 3 years. The biggest reason is the location. While the hotel is situated up a step hill from Queenstown, it is only a short walk. 2 minutes to QT. The only reason it doesn't get a 10 out of 10 from me is that the food is fine but not outstanding, compared to what is on offer in QT. It is good quality hotel food. - Lovely Interior Design - Location - Warm and Cosy - Awesome Staff - Rooms with balcony (Im slightly claustrophobic) - Interconnecting rooms - Very comfortable Beds.

Some of the staff seemed uncaring and untrained. Watching a man (young man) placing croissants on a tray with his fingers while holding tongs in his other was appalling. How could wait staff not have been advised to always use tongs?

I stayed with my two children (4 and 6) as their dad couldn’t make it. Hotel is gorgeous, very close to the action and hot tubs were amazing. They do offer VIP cards for kids but I had to ask. I think hotel could work on a better room service menu and menu options for kids considering they do market as being kid friendly but that’s pretty much it. Otherwise all amazing, super helpful organising a babysitter!

First time staying at St Moritz Queenstown. The experience starts the moment we checked-in, lovely smiles and warm welcome from the front desk team. The hotel feels luxurious and clean. Five minutes walk to the town centre (prepare to walk up hill on your way back). Food at the Lombardi restaurant are excellent. The eye filet steak and prawn fettuccini are highly recommended. Very happy with the hotel and will be staying here again on our next Queenstown visit.
