Great customer service and support from the team. The rooms were great and serviced well also. Just a great place to stay a reasonable price also . My only negative would be the swimming pool the chlorine was very strong though the area very clean and the gym a bit dated . But overall I would highly recommend.

Well my exprience at Mercure Sydney wasn't good. I saw a big cockoach in the bathroom. I told reception about it when checkig out. I was given a voucher for a free drink which I provided to a staff member at Platform 818 restaurent. However, I was still charged for the drink. The next day, I went back and enquired about the issue. Later, I was given an option of a refund which I chose, and they took a photo of my credit card for the refund. But I still haven't received the refund...

Decent location bust just average overall

Easy check in/out, room was decent size and clean, but carpet was lifting badly on one side. Self-access information could have been better (how do you access the guest laundry, e.g.?), maybe a couple of hot chocolate / milo sachets would have been nice, and TV was a non-starter with poor reception.

Not worth the money

Very disappointing. Room was quite small and bathroom dirty, had not been dusted, hair on the walls and in shower. Could hear toilets flushing above us and people in the room next to us. Around 11.30pm the room had an overwhelming sound of running water coming through the vent in the roof. It was so loud we could not sleep. Showed staff a video the next morning they were shocked and very apologetic and gave us free parking for the discomfort. Location was good close to central station. Staff were friendly and helpful at all times. Overall just not worth the money.
