Noisy aircon

The hotel staff were all very helpful, especially the concierges on duty. Unfortunately my stay was marred by very noisy aircon, which could not be turned off or adjusted, and which was audible at night even through ear-plugs. Not very restful.... The room itself was rather cramped - I damaged my foot badly on the metal leg of the too-big glass-topped table, and a week later, am still limping. The table was far too large for the room so there was not enough space to move about safely. In the bathroom, there was nothing to hold on to in the shower, and the floor became slippery when wet. There was nowhere to sit in the bathroom apart from the WC, which was too close to the vanity for one to sit straight. Hotels need to give more thought to the safe design of rooms and bathrooms, especially for older people who still like to travel.
