Overall, the stay was OK. Pros: great location, very comfy beds, clean, odourless room, good pricing. Cons: requested interconnecting rooms when booking and again when checking-in online. However, we were allocated two rooms next to each other. I was travelling as the only adult with two children so not having interconnecting rooms was problematic. Why are the rooms allocated on arrival? Allocating rooms well in advance of arrival especially for families with children should be company policy.

Everything was ok, but the layout of the room (lack of powerpoints) made things very inconvenient. Hotel room was tidy. Bathroom, while clean, was dated and lacked a exhaust fan to clear the room of steam. Overall, nice but could be nicer.

The hotel was close to work; clean and well priced. It obviously needs updating eg the carpets were stained and as a general impression it is "tired" but staff were friendly and I enjoyed my stay

As a LeClub Accor Hotels Silver Member I found Checking-In no different than being a regular guest. Frankly disappointed a little. Arrived at 11.15am and told no Rooms available: "come back in hour or so." My guest had already been waiting in the lobby for some time (a shift worker), and like her I was myself tired from travelling. In the situation where no room available, may be lunch could be offered; or some refreshments? By the time the booking record was located, my CC details taken, luggage retrieved from storage, etc., almost 10 minutes had elapsed. Now I get annoyed when I have 3 bag Check Tickets and asked "what do they look like?" What does one have a Check Ticket for? Is there no storage system? Now 2 people in a room and you leave only 6 very little milk pods means had to go downstairs and request more. Now before you say I could have rung for service I am almost profoundly deaf. Now to that: why do I bother specifying my hearing condition in my Account Preferences when nobody bothers to read these. I give my name, there should be flashing preferences and alerts so that I don't need to keep asking someone to face me when they are talking to me. The room itself was spacious, the pillows good, but the mattress (Room 1229) I could almost feel the blood running to my head; even with pillows I was sagged into the bed with my legs higher than my head. One real problem is there is nowhere to store luggage. I am glad I wasn't there more than one (1) night.

Unfortunately room not up to standard. Disappointed accor member.

Our room was 1532 when we arrived smelt of stale cigarettes. We notified front desk next morning, whom agreed and got cleaner to purify room. We had to vacate room for 4 hours for this process. When we returned still smelt, but as i had booked 2 adjoining rooms (1531) aparently there was no availbilty to move rooms when i mentioned it again. As a accor member I expected more or a gesture to apologise for inconvience. We travelled from Cairns for a special weekend.

The price was perfect for what I was looking for. So I wasn't expecting anything fancy. The location was great, the staff member who were there at the front was nice and welcoming. However the room was very stuffy and dusty, I start sneezing as soon as I arrived the room. I don't have other complains about outdated furnitures or bathroom amenities, since the affordable price was my main concern here but the dusty and stuffy air I think could significantly be improved by good house keeping.

Disappointed to be given a room first up with cleaning and tools equipment in the room. Offered a drinks voucher for the mishap but didnt use. Felt the room was light on any info about the Ibis and on supplies.

Room and beds were very comfortable. The only thing I missed was a great view, but overall no complaints with the room. The long working desk under the window was really good and practical. The location was convenient to everything. Staff were friendly. Internet was good.

We stayed at Ibis Brisbane as we had a night in Brisbane before heading off on our cruise. The hotel was in a great location for exploring downtown Brisbane and Southbank. The $1 breakfast was a real bargain as the breakfast on offer was great. The room was really comfy and the added bonus of a bath was great for our little guy. The receptionist was really helpful in telling us how to get around.
