We are very pleased with our stay with you. Great and bright rooms, clean, very nice staff, very nice food. NO complaints. A special thank you beeing so kind and extended my reservation, such a long time after booking (due to covid). MANY THANKS! Will be back!

My two stays (Friday; Sunday) book-ended arduous business travel ahead of and following a special Family Weekend. The hotel is beautiful in appearance from the outside; stunning upon entry; luxurious private quiet rooms; and a warm and welcoming staff. Breakfast and dinner excellent. Proximity to cliff-side trail made it easy to commune with Nature.

When we arrived we were very impressed by the focal point of the hotel The bedrooms were ok but not at all exceptional for thr price paid. That evening we ate at the restaurant; before dining we had an aperitif on the terrace and again were disappointed by the sombre decoration and dull atmosphere. The meal was a disaster: we took the menu degustation which was awful from start to finish; it was obvious that the chef took far too much time on fancy presentation to the detriment of the most important; taste and texture . From start to finish every course was bland and tasteless, a huge disappointment. During our stay we found the main central seating area totally devoid of ambiance and warmth and would liken it to a doctors waiting room. On a more positive note the entire staff were friendly,attentive and helpful, We will not return to the hotel and in future stay at the Miriam which has always been far superior M Gill

relaxing stay

overall a very relaxing stay, friendly and professional stay. However we experienced one negative point. Prior to arrival i informed the hotel that my husbands birthday was during our stay and would like to have a small cake etc. on the day of the birthday (Sep 17th) in the afternoon i again said this to female staff member at the desk. she was quite rude, said that she doesn't know if the kitchen has anything. and at the end there was nothing in the room. This was quite disappointing and not something i would have expected from 5 star hotel. anywhere else where we stayed and there was a special occasion the hotel would have made sure there was a small thing and I didn't have to ask for it twice.

It's always the best. my wife, Antonia, and I stay at the Regina 2-3 times a year and we always have a superb time. All the staff are friendly and helpful, and make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as it could be. We shall certainly be back before the end of the year.

Very welcoming staff and facilities in good order. Only question might be the organisation of the breakfast buffet in Covid times. To avoid any congestion we ate early but it was inevitable that different people would handle items e.g. milk jugs, bread knives which may be undesirable. However, the overall stay was first class and staff very attentive.

We have spent a great week with family. Ambience of this place and perfect service made our holidays, great restaurant inside with plenty of Basque specialities. Not mentioning Biarritz…

We had a nice time at this hotel for a three-night stay. The property is pretty and well-maintained. The young staff are really lovely and helpful and friendly. The room (classic) was a bit disappointing as there is really little closet space and no drawers; rather tight for 2 adults and one child. The bathroom is nice but the sink entirely unpractical for a beach hotel as it is not deep so you are not able to rinse our bathing suits for example. The shower is excellent however! The breakfast is however totally underwhelming and the hotel lacks the sumptuous luxurious feeling you’d expect from a 5 star hotel. Again the lovely staff go a long way but I have stayed at many 4 star hotels—for example the M gallery in Rennes and Versailles—that are considerably better.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Regina. The lobby is wonderful and an excellent place to have a cocktail. The pool and spa area are super. The food in the restaurant was lovely. Rooms are comfortable if a bit tight for space and and some more storage for clothes would have been appreciated . As we were travelling with our daughter it was great to have our own little hallway for the 2 rooms that were side by side. Staff were extremely polite and helpful.

The team on the front desks and concierges were very polite and nice . Always smiling in spite of the difficult conditions and masks . Helpful and pleasant . The ladies in the breakfast room were also hard working and very pleasant .

Le Regina the building itself, the staff, the services, the drinks/food and the cleaning are equally impressive! We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great pleasure. Every request has been handled friendly, adequately and with care. The heated pool is a plus! The location is perfect for golf surfing and a challenging running parcours. All in all our holidays at Le Regina were outstanding. We will not hesitate to book again in the future!

After travelling for a week through the delightful Spanish Basque country for our honeymoon, we arrived to Biarritz and checked into the Le Regina -- they told us in the front that they have given us an upgrade -- as soon as we entered the room we realized that the upgrade was to put us in a handicapped room with a view of the parking lot (instead of the city view we had booked). We then went out to explore the city and when we got back later that evening the room stank of cigarette smoke (we later realized this is a common complaint of guests in that room) and they made us feel like they were doing us a favor by switching our rooms (after an hour of investigations) and then letting us know that if we wanted, we could upgrade for a water view for an extra sum of money. This really made us feel quite insulted at this point -- all we wanted was a nice place to sleep without the stench of cigarette smoke in the air. All in all the customer service was terrible and I found the front desk to be extremely unhelpful in the ordeal. I'd suggest staying elsewhere -- the hotel is at most a 4 star in terms of accommodations and a 1 star in terms of customer experience. A true disappointment. NB kudos to the manager however, who was quite understanding and friendly, but alas only available the next morning.

We stayed there for 1 night and had a really great time. Restaurant is perfect, we loved the food! Great location. Just walk for 10 mins to the `grand plage`. We also enjoyed the music performance at the bar. Highly recommend to everyone. Especially to the families.

The overall experience and mainly the quality of service was not what can be expected from a 5* hotel.The staff is young and unexperienced, sometimes not even polite. Rooms are small and marketing is somehow misleading.Classic Rooms "facing the city" (according to the website) are actually looking down on the omnipresent parking lots.Superior Rooms with "Ocean views" are facing the road with its flow of coaches bringing tourists to the nearby light house.The pool is surrounded by parking lots and a road. The spa is underground with no natural light nor view and is limited to 1 hammam and not rest area.Last but not least, the hotel management contemns the ACCOR loyalty program, treating members in a very rude manner.
