Fabulous hotel. I loved my room even though it looked over the golf course. The food was good but the whole trip was defined by the staff. The staff is fabulous l, Eric the concierge was so attentive and helpful. The spa and massage was the best ever. I can’t say enough about the staff and I stayed two weeks just after the Covid restrictions on travel were lifted. Would definitely return. .

Came for a 3 night stay with my husband, for a change of scene. The hotel staff are professional but more importantly, very friendly. I wasn’t sure if staff in a 5 star hotel would be a bit snooty, but I needn’t have worried. Service was discreet and efficient and all staff acknowledged us when we moved through the hotel. We chose a ground floor room with a sea view terrace containing table and chairs, 2 loungers and a parasol. Our room was very clean and the bed and bedding made for a good night’s sleep. Excellent insulation, so we heard no noise at all when the doors were closed. The only snag was traffic noise when we were on the terrace, but that is not the hotel’s fault. We were out most of the day and did not mind. There is a lovely pool area and towels are provided. We didn’t use the pool or spa, as we just wanted to walk each day. We dined in the restaurant on 2 nights. The first was under restrictions, but we still enjoyed an excellent meal, with cocktails at the table beforehand. There was a very good range of food at breakfast and staff ensured it was kept well topped up. Dinner on our last night was out of restrictions, so the menu changed. We opted for the menu découverte with accompanying wines. The sommelier explained the choice of wine and we were not disappointed. Complimentary canapés, amuses-bouche and chocolates were a lovely touch. All in all, we enjoyed an extremely relaxing stay. We hadn’t realised how stressed we had been because of COVID, until we were sleeping for 10 hours in our comfortable bed. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so memorable.

The room was correct, the wifi works well, the bed is really good... But The service, the cheap deco, the large bathroom without a bath and a shower, despite being a “ good “ room , the less than exciting breakfast are a complete let down.

We love going to the Regina and always find everyone there so welcoming, and it really is a first class hotel. In these Covid days, the Atrium is superb for social distancing, and it’s possible to enjoy the ambience, either with the Saturday night live music, or on other occasions very safely. The staff there followed all the mask and cleanliness regulations and made us feel safe at all times. We had booked a room with the outside terrace on the ground floor, and were thrilled when we arrived to have been upgraded to a suite with our Platinum membership. It made our holiday - thank you.

The hotel is well located close to downtown. The bus stop is in front of the house. The building itself is absolutely beautiful and the hotel invests lots of efforts to utilize the architecture. Food and drinks were good and the staff was always helpful and friendly. I can absolutely recommend the hotel.

My boyfriend and I spent two nights at Le Regina this late August. The hotel is well located, towering the gorgeous bay of Biarritz. The Art Déco lobby is superb, and the staff very friendly. However the rooms and the restaurant could benefit from a light overhaul (no USB ports, few electrical outlets in the rooms...).

We had to change 2 times rooms as the staff did not accommodate the same room for the full reservation. For sure there will be always excuses of how the bookings was done in certain ways but still, in a 5 stars I do expect the staff to find solutions regardless the problem. Especially when I booked one of the nicest suite of the hotel. When we finally had to good room, the stay was good. Service was fine. The staff was good but a bit too friendly or "relax" from my point of view. The hotel only had one restaurant and I expected to have a table at it as a resident with one of the biggest suit, but the restaurant was always full......we stayed almost a week and no place at the restaurant for my family. At the end, it was a good stay, but I will not come back in this hotel. The lack of flexibility and banding regarding the wishes of customers that pay over 1k per night kind of disappoint me.

After travelling for a week through the delightful Spanish Basque country for our honeymoon, we arrived to Biarritz and checked into the Le Regina -- they told us in the front that they have given us an upgrade -- as soon as we entered the room we realized that the upgrade was to put us in a handicapped room with a view of the parking lot (instead of the city view we had booked). We then went out to explore the city and when we got back later that evening the room stank of cigarette smoke (we later realized this is a common complaint of guests in that room) and they made us feel like they were doing us a favor by switching our rooms (after an hour of investigations) and then letting us know that if we wanted, we could upgrade for a water view for an extra sum of money. This really made us feel quite insulted at this point -- all we wanted was a nice place to sleep without the stench of cigarette smoke in the air. All in all the customer service was terrible and I found the front desk to be extremely unhelpful in the ordeal. I'd suggest staying elsewhere -- the hotel is at most a 4 star in terms of accommodations and a 1 star in terms of customer experience. A true disappointment. NB kudos to the manager however, who was quite understanding and friendly, but alas only available the next morning.

We stayed there for 1 night and had a really great time. Restaurant is perfect, we loved the food! Great location. Just walk for 10 mins to the `grand plage`. We also enjoyed the music performance at the bar. Highly recommend to everyone. Especially to the families.

The overall experience and mainly the quality of service was not what can be expected from a 5* hotel.The staff is young and unexperienced, sometimes not even polite. Rooms are small and marketing is somehow misleading.Classic Rooms "facing the city" (according to the website) are actually looking down on the omnipresent parking lots.Superior Rooms with "Ocean views" are facing the road with its flow of coaches bringing tourists to the nearby light house.The pool is surrounded by parking lots and a road. The spa is underground with no natural light nor view and is limited to 1 hammam and not rest area.Last but not least, the hotel management contemns the ACCOR loyalty program, treating members in a very rude manner.

Nice hotel with easy access to the beaches and to downtown. Comfortable and clean room with sea-view. Breakfast is is fine and serves local products. Personal is very helpful and nice. Swimming pool could be larger but the beaches are not far away. I would recommend this hotel for relaxing holidays in Biarritz.

From reception to restaurant from cleaners to concierge the hotel excels. We have stayed here overnight 3 or 4 times travelling from Malaga to UK and it simply revives you and relaxes you. The rooms are excellent the food always good if a little expensive. We will be back.
