Fantastic stay here, very welcoming. Location was amazing. You were close to everything. Left our luggage here as we were before check in time but that was no problem to leave our luggage whilst we went off exploring. I had seen personally a lot of reviews saying the rooms were small. I thought the room was absolutely fine and we were happy with ours. Comfy beds, lovely room and bathroom. We stayed for one night including breakfast which had a range of hot and cold food. We would definitely stay again. Thank you.

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights where we thoroughly enjoyed. Located literally just a few steps away from the Royal Mile and surrounded by bars, restaurants, and cafe. Walking distance to anywhere in Edinburgh city centre. Also walkable from Waverly Train Station, although the shortcut through the closes (alleys) will need you to carry suitcase through flight of stairs. The breakfast was standard but it has local fare, including Haggis! The bar area is also a place you can rest and have any kind of drinks after a day of exploring windy and cold Edinburgh but you don't want to go back to your room just yet. The staffs are really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The room itself is quite spacious, beds are comfortable and the toilet + shower are in the same room which we preferred. Standard amenities are available in the room, excluding the toothbrush/comb/etc which can be requested - a step towards sustainability these days. Another step towards sustainability which I am really impressed with is you can opt-out of daily cleaning (by hanging a specific card on the door handle) and you will get £5 back daily (accumulative) to be used for eat/drink during your stay. Overall, it is really good stay and if we do have the chance to go back to Edinburgh, this will be our first option.
