Great location

Location is great for the museums, castles and shops as well as loads of great food places. Great breakfast, the room was cosy. Staff were fantastic. Not many freeview channels on the telly but you can cast mobile devices to it to watch Netflix, Disney+, etc. Which was much better for us as we use streaming services at home rather than normal TV channels.

Another Lovely Stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Both Justiina and Tom were very helpful at checkin. Secondary double glazing really eliminated outside noise from Hunters Square. The mattress and topper were very comfortable as was the pillow. Had a very peaceful sleep. My wife found the makeup lights around the shower room mirror very useful. Overall, we had a wonderful 5 star experience. The location of this hotel to the Royal Mile is excellent. We will be back soon.

A very short walk from the main Train Station and you arrived at the hotel. Was greeted by lovely friendly helpful staff, who remained available to help throughout our stay. Rooms where spotlessly clean and had everything you needed, including Shower Gel and Shampoo. The location was amazing for getting around Edinburgh, as it was right in the middle of everything and a great pub next door serving tasty meals at 2-1. Couldn't think of anything negative about this great hotel find. Oh and great value for money too. Can't wait to return.

we booked a room with a city centre view, the first room we checked into you would need a ladder to reach it! 2nd room the window was something i would expect to see in a prison cell

A great hotel for exploing Edinburgh

The hotel is situated just off the Royal Mile, within easy walking distance of Waverley station, hop-on/off buses and airport link buses. Staff very friendly and efficient. The hotel has a lift and the bedrooms, although not large, are clean, comfortable and well presented. Breakfast was good, with a selection of both hot and cold options, fruit and drinks. The hotel has no restaurant, but there is a multitude of places to eat within a minute or twos walk. Overall a great hotel for exploring Edinburgh.
