hi, we have spent two nights at your hotel on the 30th a. 31st of August a. , although the location of it is very nice a. close to the city center, there were a few topics i would like to address for further improvements : 1) the front desk staff was speaking a very poor English (at least the persons we spoke), which is not what you expect from a Mercure hotel. Also the man behind the desk was relatively rude with us upon arrival, for no apparent reason. 2) the room was from a nice size, but the bathroom was not clean. You can go a. check room 616. there is plenty of long a. short hairs sticking to the green walls around the toilet. Also the shower was not clean a. there was a lot of black dirt on the tiles that could easily be removed. I can send you pictures if necessary The air conditioning is very noisy a. not working properly. 3) the breakfast was very chaotic, with only 1 coffee machine for hundreds of guests, too less empty plates were available, a. a poor variety of products for 26eur per person!! For this price the quality should be higher. This is not free critics from our side, a. i will not post this review on google, but your prices are high, a. not meeting the standards of this price range hotels. On a positive note, the bar employee was very friendly a. your selection of wines very tasty. bathroom was not clean, airco very noisy a. nearly not cooling down rude front desk staff, speaking very bad English nicely located close to the old city oldish, needs renovation i can only judge the breakfast that was not a good experience at all, for a very expensive 26eur per person!!!! friendly barman, good wines, chill atmosphere

Booking was a real issue and I ended up booking the same stay three times because of a problem with the website and no confirmation whatsoever. It was then a total nightmare trying to get the second and third payments refunded. However, the hotel was in a great location, clean and modern and we had a great stay.

The staff overall were courteous, professional and friendly. My only concern was with parking and not being advised earlier of the payment method when staying multiple days. That information would have been helpful. Room and view was nice. The location is great, but accessing it for first time was confusing. Breakfast was superb and service was excellent!
