Nice hotel with good location. Not the hotels fault but the only slight problem was the building work going on outside the hotel that got in the way of our view of the river, also leading to a bit of a maze to get in and out of the hotel by foot, once we worked out a route though all was good.

Nice enough hotel on the banks of the river. However, from check in onwards (with one exception) we didn’t see a member of staff smile! Most were rude to the extreme; the most unwelcome ‘welcome’ at check in, the lady running the bar that totally ignored us standing at the bar for five minutes, whilst she finished her paperwork,, the greeting when entering the breakfast room was … ‘room number’ …. No ‘good morning’ ….. and the list went on and on! The only smile was the girl on check out but that may have been directed at our dog, rather than us!
