Perfectly positioned in Montparnasse, the Novotel is a great base for any visit to Paris. The hotel has a good restaurant with great breakfast choices. Rooms are comfortable. We'd an executive room, that comfortably fitted 2 adults and a teen. Mini bar was a bonus. It's 100m to the nearest metro station, making it easy to get to all of Paris' sites, but also is easily walkable to St Germain and the Latin Quarter. Best of all is the hotel's amazing rooftop bar. This has to be one of Paris' best kept secrets. It offers a good selection of cocktails alongside spectacular views across the Paris skyline. Best enjoyed at night!

I was very disappointed with my stay. The air conditioning was not working, making the room extremely uncomfortable, especially during the warm weather. The breakfast was also very poor, with almost no variety. The selection was limited and did not meet the standard I expected from a Novotel hotel. Overall, the experience was disappointing, and I would not recommend this hotel unless these issues are addressed.

Regarding the air conditioning, you initially reported a lack of cooling in your first room. Our technical team intervened immediately to resolve the issue. Following your room change, our Technical Manager personally inspected the new room and confirmed that the air conditioning was operating correctly, with an air supply temperature of 17°C, which is below the recommended operating temperature of 19°C. While the system was functioning as intended, we are sorry that the room temperature still did not provide the level of comfort you expected. As for breakfast, we were surprised by your comments. Our unlimited continental buffet offers a wide variety of hot and cold, sweet and savoury options, including pastries, brioche, pancakes, crêpes, cakes, assorted breads, eggs, omelettes, potatoes, cold cuts, olives, salads, fresh vegetables, hummus, fresh fruit, fruit salad, compotes, and many other items. We are sorry that the selection did not meet your expectations despite the extensive choice available. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue improving our services.
