I have stayed at the Ibis Port Hedland a number of times over the past 4-5 months. I find the rooms clean and comfortable and the staff very friendly. My only issue is that I am an Accor member but haven't accumulated and loyalty points for my stays, not sure why as my email is registered.

I travel the world often and stay at various air bnb and quality hotels. I now what to expect at a hotel like the port Hedland Ibis hotel. It’s a basic room. I get it. But The room smelled like a smoking room, the decor was old and tired and the tv didn’t work! Not good enough for the price charged!

While I was very busy on a business trip I stay in my room long enough to appreciate some good and bad points. The bed was comfortable and air conditioning was good but the bathroom was dated and shower was average. The room lacked natural light even with the curtains open which themselves were broken and hard to get to. I wasn’t told at check in about the free bottled water which would have been good to know. The breakfast was good but only one staff member seemed to be doing everything. Nothing fancy here but would definitely stay again.

Sheets were threadbare you could see the blanket through the sheet, there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom, The Shower head would not stay up to have a shower you needed to hold it up to make it work, there were cobwebs all over the roof in the bathroom. overall it was not an overally pleasent stay, espically for the price that was charged. The rooms are tired and need a signicant revamp/update.
