Staff was great in pick up and drop off and at reception. The superior room needs lots of improvement. Furniture to be updated, bathroom is in a poor state . Breakfast was not bad.
Poor, no rest.

The rooms with dividing doors are horrible, you can hear every burp, fart and drunken argument like the 'neighbours' are standing at the foot of your bed. Even with ear plugs it was practically impossible to get a good nights sleep which made waking up at 430am to work a 12 hour day difficult. The doors need to be replaced with solids and some serious sealing applied around them.
Comfortable Beds, central location.

Only negatives, the restaurant closed and shower barely warm in the morning. Rooms and bathrooms getting a bit dated and in need of a refurb.

We had a weeks stay at Ibis. For what we paid we were very satisfied. That being said there is definitely some improvements that need to be made to make it a great place. It is a very tired place and is in a great need of refurbishment. Cleaning staff need to be trained on everything from how to make a bed, to how to wipe surfaces and to remember to do the whole job...one day towels were left but no beds made and no cleaning done. Floors and bathrooms were certainly not cleaned most days. Beds were comfortable, aircon worked great and the showers were warm, what more can we want. Breakfast was very limited with only the basics except the day the tour bus was in and suddenly coffee machine appeared and more choices with scones and cakes. All in all it was an ok stay but when I say there is potential, there is so much potential with a refurbishment. And amazingly they picked us up from airport and would take us anywhere in town we wanted to go. Hats off to the 2 managers seconded from Perth especially John-Paul.

I was booked in for 3 nights, after the 2nd night I was notified of a family emergency and had to cancelled the last night of my stay. While the Ibis didn't have to refund the night, they did and it was much apricated. The staff were very understanding and helpful.
