Overall it was a good experience room was clean. Breakfast finishes too early perhaps run it until 10am. Due to no housekeeping on a Sunday there was a food tray left in the hall until the Monday, I did let reception know that there was a food tray in the hall and it was still there Monday morning. Bed was comfortable. Rooms aren't very sound proof and could easily hear TV from someone else room and vacuuming going on the Monday. This may be because of the gap around the door

Enjoy staying in the hotel but continually have to chase Accor hotels for Invoices and Reciepts. So frustrating.

We were absolutely spoilt rotten by all the staff. The children had their own room (with adjoining rooms) and that gave us a sense of presence but also gave us great privacy.

From the time I arrived at reception to when I left the experience was amazing. I needed a phone charger nothing too hard for the staff, ordered a meal and then asked if could have in room, no problem nothing too hard. I guess the only comment I would make is the bar and kitchen closed too early.

I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Ibis Kalgoorlie. The room was spacious and clean. Room service was prompt. Unfortunately, the meal i ordered did not arrive, as I’d asked. I requested to swap mashed potatoes for chips. Also, the vegetables were hard, undercooked and not fresh. Furthermore, after requesting my room be cleaned, using the blue tag on the door handle, i returned later to find the tag had been reversed, to red, indicating ‘do not disturb’, and my room had not been cleaned. On the last morning, one of the elevators was out of order. I was told this off-handedly by the front desk lady, who pointed hurriedly in the direction of the stairs. I’d expect a more attentive and caring attitude from staff, when paying to stay in a ‘four star’ hotel.

Paid booking a month before check in by company credit card. By the end of December I needed an invoice so I could forward the paperwork into accounts for end of December. The hotel could not provide me with an invoice even though money was taken out of the credit card. I got into trouble for late processing of my paperwork. If the hotel take money out of my credit card they should email me with an invoice. Your system doesn't work with corporate clients like myself. I need to think about this next time I book with this hotel.

Flew from Brisbane to Kalgoorlie and checked in hoping for a quiet stay. first night had kids running up and down the hallway until 10pm. Second night, the guests above my room decided to have a get-together, resulting in footsteps running back and forth the entire length of my ceiling, coupled with the sounds of furniture(?) being dragged back and forth, and the occasional loud knock of the floor. Rang reception at 11pm, gave room number and described noise directly above me, was told they would have to ring the hotel manager. Rang again at 1am, phone redirected to nowhere. Went onto balcony and heartily suggested to group above that they call it a night, which resulted in a small lull for an hour. Booked new hotel via my companies booking portal at 2am, when I was awoken again even though I was wearing noise-cancelling headphones. Party eventually subsided at 3am, only to have their kids excitedly greet the dawn at 4.15am with much running around and slamming of balcony doors etc. Checked out to go to work at 5.30am, got an email from hotel manager later in the day apologising, saying they could not identify exact location of noise. Never staying again.

We stayed with our 7 year old grandson and were really pleased with our choice of hotel. The price was great, helped by not having to pay for a roll out bed (many hotels charge lots) The room was quiet, the bathroom small but perfectly formed. Shower pressure wasn’t the best but hot water was plentiful. The room was cleaned each day to a high standard. We didn’t use the restaurant, there are lots of choices a short walk away. Our grandson enjoyed the pool but it was too cold for me. We found the hotel to be a great base for exploring the tourist delights and loved watching a storm from the balcony. We would recommend a stay here and would stay again.
