The room’s ducted air-conditioning vents were heavily covered in dust, and the overall cleanliness was very poor. At breakfast, the staffs only replaced napkins with new ones but never wiped the tables. My table had visible coffee stains and water marks, which I ended up cleaning myself. Even when there were clearly visible food scraps left on the neighboring tables, the servers deliberately looked the other way and ignored them. The male sever never smiled to us although I said thanks several times. The room shared noise with the next room, making it difficult to rest properly, and the bed was so uncomfortable that my back still hurts. What made the experience even more disappointing was the swimming pool. Photos online clearly showed a pool on Google, so I prepared and brought my swimwear — only to find that the pool does not exist at all. It feels misleading, whether the photos were intentionally uploaded, deliberately left outdated, or simply neglected. Not confirming the absence of a pool was my biggest mistake, and while I let it go at the time, I would never have chosen to stay here if I had known there was no pool. I will never stay here again.

I have been in contact with Google about said images and it is an ongoing process. Having said this, we are more than happy to organise time at the Novotel pool next door for guests of the Ibis. If there's anything I can do to assist post stay or enhance a future stay please let me know as it's our last desire to see a guest feel as though their purchase was not reflected well in the stay. Room was old and poorly cleaned , shower made this weird noise and the bathroom sink was blocked and full of water. For over $200 a night this is a terrible value for money hotel.
