During the refurbishment, Mercure and WMK Architecture collaborated to create a warm yet modern space filled with bright colour, which is both inviting and comfortable. The work of local artist Kelly Fielding was also incorporated into the room design, which includes her range of headboards designed to resemble the Brisbane River.

It was a very seamless stay, my only feedback would be access to the car park for pedestrians could improve, as having to walk up the ramp with potential oncoming cars entering area is a risk. I am not sure if there was another way to enter the hotel from the car park however this was the way I was advised to enter the hotel from the car park attendant. Would definitely return and stay in the future.

My acomadation was well presented the dining area and staff were very friendly to me .But on my arrival on the 27th of December i was not impressed to find out on my arrival that they had no record off my booking which was all done through my travel agent and i had all my forms and references numbers with me.and after doing my cruise and returning on the 12th of January fer another 2 night stay only to find out that my accommodation had been canceled I was not very happy as you had sent me an email to welcome me back again with my reference number to tell me that my room would be ready. as i was not very impressed I have informed my travel agent what happened.

The staff were very pleasant and the overall experience was enjoyable. The rooms are a little dated / worn but otherwise very clean, well presented and tidy. I did not enjoy the entrance and access to the hotel at all. It was not pedestrian friendly and was an unpleasant experience to dodge traffic to get to the front door - I had to cross several driveways and parking lot entrances to access reception. There was also not a clear access route or signage and it seemed like a back door rather than a main entrance.

I checked in online . As per the Accor email. Was supposed to make the check in easier. Wrong. There was 1 lady on reception. So service was very slow. When it was our turn . She could not find the reservation under our name. Asked were we sure we had the right hotel, right dates ? I produced the confirmation and asked her to check under the reservation number . She said oh I can but it’s a diff screen . Finally found it and said oh it’s because you put your surname first . That annoyed me. As an Accor member it gets prefilled . We had booked a privilege room . I would hate to see the unprivileged ones !! The carpet in the hallway outside he room was actually unsafe . It had so many bumps in it .. the room was ok . It was at least clean . And the view and location was awesome . As part of the privilege room , we were suppose to receive chocolates, mineral water . Magazines and newspapers .. we received none of it . We used the pool later in the day . It was dirty . A few cigarette buts and dirty dishes laying around and no clean pool towels . We were there for 2 nights and not once were we greeted uponarriving or leaving the hotel . I found the customer service to almost non existent and would not return to this hotel

Staff we kind, bar staff very friendly Rooms were a little shabby but clean My bathroom sink was cracked in multiple places Bed and pillows very uncomfortable Could hear all the traffic noise all night from the bridge so no sleep

Really enjoyed the 2 nights. Was a bit disappointed that I payed more for my stay this time and got a smaller room than my last visit. Otherwise it was great.

It was good. I travelled to all cities in Australia. All hotels provided our rooms with water .Mercure was the only one that wanted guests to pay for water. Placed in room. Staff was very good. E

We arrived early at your hotel. We were going to put our luggage in storage, at the hotel, but the receptionist found us a room. You Inn was "Centrally" located to the CBD, and "South Bank", both within "Walking Distance". Every thing was excellent from the room, meals and amenities. Your Hotel and Service rates "highly" with other hotel we have stayed at, both here and over-seas.

The stat itself was good but the booking proceedure(central booking system) was appalling. They didn’t understand me. Had to spell my name and email at least 3 times and the still got it wrong and I wanted a specific room which they could not guarantee had the view of the fireworks that I wanted then made me pay for it in the hope got the correct room,

New years eve, glad to get a room, shoulda ate at McDonald’s

Was extremely happy with finding a river view room two days before new years, Ordered two dinner and drinks packages for the night, got the steak , thought it would be better than the $12.95 one i get a few times a week from my local pub, my mistake, i ordered medium well which came out basically mooing, swimming in blood, uneatable.. My partner went the fish , hers was delicious, no problems We also got the 2 hour drinks package,, ugh I honestly got sick of waiting after ordering from 3 different waiters, one red wine with dinner, a white 30 mins later then almost an hour later i stood up to grab myself and partner our third drink in 2 hours on new years eve... Pretty dissatisfied with the dusty room and the filthy windows. But it was just a place to stay for 1 night, we checked out early after a night of no sleep the pillows were so flat and mattress also, we would have been more comfortable in our own bed, We did however visit our friends room at the ibis, between the two sets of fireworks, All I could think was wow why didn’t I ring here..

Stayed New Years Eve, the staff were great and friendly , room well furnished. The Legendary bar was fun. The only downside was the pool was to cold to swim in for long and this was on a 35 degrees Celsius day.

The room was dark and poorly lit. One grey wall needed cleaning. The bathroom door was pockmarked. Even though the aircon was set at 16 degrees it could not keep the room cool. The corridor outside the room needed vacuuming. The request for an iron ( which should have been in the room) took 50 minutes.

Hotel staff first class. Lunch and dinner very good but breskfast not so. Food sat in heaters too long and spoiled. Chia pudding old. Cheese stale. Coffee machine faulty. This is the forth stay in the last year and breakfasts need an upgrade. Great river view legends speak easy a real treat. Parking expensive.
