I have been loyal to Accor hotels however again this hotel doesn’t seem to recognise any loyalty, this most likely happens too most members because again I had to remind them that I was a member and embarrassingly had to ask for my drink vouchers and water for my room, when I asked they had to look up on your website to see if I was telling the truth, is this customer service??, dated rooms, clunky checkout and had to call them to remind them about my status and points for my stay (Which I still don’t have yet) and send my invoice that I requested at checkout, I’m a business man who travels a lot I don’t have time to ring hotel chasing invoices and points, enough is enough no more Accor hotels for me in Darwin at least, didn’t even get a reply for last feedback I sent for the same hotel and the same problems

Arrived, checked in after overseas flight and ready for a hot shower. No towels. Phoned reception. They told me they had no clean towels and I would be put on a waiting list! Unbelievable. Room in poor shape. Carpet aged and dirty. Never again.

As a member of the Accor group, I was disappointed with the standard of this hotel. The location is great but, upon checking in, even though a member, we were given a room that overlooked the car park - not the water. The room was tired and not clean, lighting in the second bedroom had been changed but did not work, the air conditioner was faulty. I wasn't given my drink vouchers upon arrival and had to ask for them - then it was too late to use them as we were checking out. All in all - the accommodation needs a lot of work and cleaning properly. It wasn't up to the standard of other Novotel Hotels I have stayed in

Visited 15 yrs ago with daughter and visited again with my husband in May. Sad to say was given a junior suite 221 the carpets were damp and smelly. Moved to a std room and I accepted as it looked clean. Found the bulbs were fused in bathroom and Kamal replaced them for me.Must mention that the staff were very kind and helpful. Gem and others in restaurant worked hard and food was tasty. The GM Chris Naylor was doing all he could to renovate the rooms, lounge etc and would love to visit Novotel again as I love the location. I was also given a late checkout to 4.00 pm Thanks to all staff Ekana, Kamal two names I remember.

Great location and friendly staff. However, the property was very tired and not clean. The common areas both inside and out were dirty, The lifts were grubby.The stainless steel had not been wiped. The shower floor was grimy with accumulated soap scum and there was a dirty, mouldy shower curtain. The entire property needs a good clean and attention to maintenance.
