ibis Linz City Hotel 3 stars

Great stay!

Very friendly staff, clean room - everything was allright.

The “Ibis City” is opposite the railway station, bright, modern, with surprisingly quiet rooms. It is a very good choice for staying in Linz for business (excellent WLAN, possibilities to print, one can also walk into the city center or take the tram (1 stop)). + The staff is extremely nice, well informed and always willing to help.

Generally good, check in/check out and reception staff excellent. Breakfast very good but food on offer at the restaurant in the evening very limited and service in restaurant slow.

The rooms are on the small side but functional with limited temperature control and lacking a coffeemaker or, better, nespresso machine. Besides that the hotel offers all you would want on a business trip including very friendly staff and a nice cosy bar for unwinding in the evening. Underground parking is available nearby fpr 9 Euro - I coudn't find that information on the website in advance. Just across the street from the main train station where also all local tramways connect.

Nice hotel centrally located with safe and secure car parking. Check in very professional. Evening meal and breakfast very good value for money. Would happily stay again

Very disappointed with this hotel (we stayed at three different Accor/Ibis hotels during our trip to Austria and this was the worst by far). Room seemed cramped and there was a gap underneath the door (which also didn't shut properly unless you slammed it - not good for neighbours!). Curtains also didn't fully fit the window and the double bed had a single quilt on it! Hotel was was busy and we were told it was full so no real option to move.. The only good thing about the the hotel was its location - but would avoid if we ever go back to the area.

I recently stayed here for one night. The staff at the reception is extremely friendly and very helpfull! Rooms are small, but very clean, great shower in the bathroom and excellent bed. I had a room at the 'street side' of the hotel, which was pretty noisy due to the cars and people outside, so ask a room at the back side, if possible. Breakfast was excellent, great variety, bake your own waffles! I do recommend this hotel, the value for money is excellent.

Nothing to mention of note. Service was as to be expected and the hotel up to usual standards. The experience remains a constant and ensures that we will continue to visit again and again

The hotel is a short walk across the road from Linz Hauptbahnhof. Friendly staff, especially at the reception. The bar area is quite small but comfortable. An enjoyable buffet breakfast. Comfortable and clean room with a large bed. Quiet location. I always sleep well in Ibis Hotels. This was my fourth visit. Planning to turn in 2019.

The hotel suited me being located between the Opera house (which was the main purpoise of my visit to linz) and the train station where I arrived! I slept well and tghe staff were excellent I think the hotel earned its 3 stars!

the quality of beds i quite low, I did not get a good sleep at all.
