Wonderful views of the ferries and sailboats from our room, chocolate hour was incredible. Appreciated the early check-in and room upgrade - many thanks. Location ideal for anyone coming in from the airport via AIR link bus and rail - station is right beside hotel (no train noise in our room or in the restaurant).

The windows should be double glazed, a car alarm went off every half hour all night. It kept being beeped off so am assuming it was a hotel guest. Worst sleep ever. Room was comfortable and nice.

No welcome amenities as per our gold status. Long wait to be seated for breakfast, broken coffee machine, only decaf pods for other machine, 5 mushrooms, no cream for waffles , burnt beams and watery eggs. Short staffed and some were rude showing signs of being under pressure. When we informed manager on paying he said the hotel is busy as it was rhe weekend and they had lots of children staying in the hotel. We usually stay on a weekend and it has never been anyway near that bad.

I’m genuinely sorry that this stay fell so far below the standard you have come to expect from us, especially as a returning guest and valued ALL Gold member. There were several issues throughout your stay, and we completely understand your disappointment. The breakfast experience in particular was not acceptable, with the delays, coffee machine issues and food quality and availability you experienced. We also apologise that your welcome amenities were missed and for the housekeeping issue noted in your room. While the weekend was busy, this should never be an excuse for the level of service you experienced. We are taking your feedback seriously and will be sharing it with the relevant teams to ensure these areas are addressed. We had a wonderful stay at Mövenpick Hotel Auckland. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, comfortable rooms, excellent food and, most importantly, a wonderful team who genuinely care about their guests. Jeremy at Check-In was super helpful, welcoming. Usually have a great stay. Perhaps put families on a separate floor than people travelling for business

Hotel is in a good location. Room amenities is adequate and the bed and pillows are comfortable. The room is a bit tight though, particularly between the foot of the bed and the desk. The chair needs to be pushed in the desk each time I need to get to the window to close the curtains. I was on the 4th floor so I can hear the noise from below.

Did not have anything from the minibar yet charged. Contacted hotel who responded to say the duty manager will be in contact. No contact made. It’s hard for your staff to provide great service based on the modelling of your managers.

I sincerely apologise that the minibar charge was applied incorrectly and, more importantly, that you were advised a Duty Manager would contact you but this follow-up did not occur. I have now arranged for the incorrect minibar charge to be refunded to your card. We are also sorry that several aspects of your stay, including breakfast and Wi-Fi, did not meet your expectations.
