This hotel is located in a perfect spot to catch the ferry to Devonport and to walk around the city. Room was very comfortable and breakfast was wonderful. We enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed for 3 days - grat experience. Loved the views from the 12th floor and the spacious room. Fantastic breakfasts, though expensive worth the money. We returned for a one night stay - terrible small room on the 2nd floor, v noisy, no coffee machine, and when we finally got to sleep, we were woken by a fire alarm and had to evacuate the building!

The location is ideal being close to the city, harbour and SkyBus. The room was excellent especially the bed and the shower. We arrived early on the Queen Elizabeth, as a Gold member one of the privileges is early check-in when available. At reception I was told that the room was empty but would take 2-3 hours to clean. When I asked why, I was told that rooms are cleaned according to a “list” and the order couldn’t be changed. It took some time to persuade the person at reception to prioritise the cleaning of our room. At breakfast they offer a continental breakfast however there are no bread rolls. I have never seen a continental breakfast served with sliced bread. Service for cooked items was very slow.

Stayed 2 nights, excellent room with harbour views, attended a ReUnion of classmates from 1965, which we held in the Barrier Room and Custom Lane. From Reception to Events Team our experience was friendly, courteous, accommodating and professional staff. I had a very poor experience with you during this stay. I was awoken just after midnight to the fire alarm going off, we were all told to go the evacuation point. There was no communication from any of your staff as to what was going on - false alarm or real incident! Not a great outcome ...

We booked a suite, we were given a room on the 7th floor near the lifts, we went down to reception to complain, we were told that all the suites were in the same position in the hotel. We could hear the lifts all night. We didn’t sleep very well. We will not be stopping at this hotel again.

Very good location, very good service, very good restaurant and bar. Small room and no pool or spa are on the minus side. So, if for a short stay, it could still be among best options if fairly priced.

Everything was great. Restaurant was fantastic. My one negative comment was House Keeping knocking knocking and knocking at 8.24 am to see if we wanted our room serviced - during a one night stay - I don't think so! Sort of ruined a nice morning when we had an 11.00am check out.
