In general as good as always but a few things that did not work: the soap dispenser of the shower was broken, the light of the balcony did not work properly and the flooring of the balcony was very dirty and in very bad conditions.

Since 2019, we have started a major renovation project (hall, bar, restaurant, fitness room and bedroom). Today we have reached 50% of our objectives and in a while we will start the last part of our project with the total renovation of the rooms. Loved staying at the Mercure Creole in Reuniin. The staff are super amazing and super helpful, the swimming pool is fantastic, the room wss incredible. I loved the atmosphere too

Arrival was unpleasant. I had reserved a room with a double bed, but was given a room with two singles and ... a perfect view of a wall. Although I am a Silver member of the Accor Club, no welcome drink was offered. Nonetheless, after some discussion a better - more reasonable - room was found. Superb breakfast buffet and very kind personnel quickly helped forget that rough introduction to the Créolia.

We have expected to have a great service with is required of titre MERCURE groupe We are not satisfied with their service There is no electricity when I have to go down by the lift which is out of service There was no internet when I needed When we have had the problem of the room which is situated by the under constriction which has started from 7 am we complained to the service and require to do something or change the room They can not propose anything We think we will never stay at this hotel with this price not value with 4 stars hotel

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Please note that this problem was a true exception to our normal practices. During your stay, there was indeed a general power cut in our quarter by EDF (the French electricity supplier), which has caused the breakdown of our lifts and of our internet equipment. Our generator took over in a few seconds, but then we had no other choice than wait until our Internet modem restarts. Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to reduce as much as possible the inconvenience caused in such cases. We are looking forward to welcoming you again at Mercure Creolia. Very helpful staff. If you need shuttle bus pick-up at the airport you will need to book beforehand (I didn't see any detailed information about the shuttle bus on the website). Shuttle bus hours are limited ... but I was able to catch a local bus (very close to hotel) as needed. The downside of the local bus is that it takes 30 mins or more to get to and from the centre of town. The transit shower was much appreciated. However, the liquid soap dispenser was empty. I understand renovations are planned so shower comment below may be only temporarily relevant. ROOMS Good shelf space. Tissues replenished regularly. FIRST ROOM Shower would be a challenge for anyone who is not reasonably slim. SECOND ROOM (Upgraded as gold member when it became available). Good kettle: did not need 0.5L minimum water ... saved electricity. Very early (outside normal hours) breakfast arranged on a morning when I needed to leave early.

Not worth the price - rooms old and smelly

We arrived around 11pm. The person at the desk was not very welcoming. We got a voucher for a free welcome drink, but the bar was closed (on a Friday night). We booked 2 rooms. One room was in a "basement" area. The other was on the first floor overlooking a parking. We selected Standard Rooms at a cost €149 per room. The rooms were smelly (humid, old smell). Not impressed at all. Not worth the money ! We left early the next morning after breakfast. Breakfast was good. 25 years ago we had our honeymoon at this hotel.... sadly it is not what it used to be.

Our stay at the hotel was frustrating from the start. As an Accor Partner, we had requested an early checkin as we were arriving from Mauritius around 11.30am. We arrived at the hotel around 12.30pm but did not get into our room until 6.30pm. A waste of an afternoon. In addition we were advised on checkin of the normal credit card pre-authorisation which I signed for but another much larger pre-authorisation was taken several hours later without our authority. Disappointing.

Your staff are all excellent and extremely friendly. Bravo on Mercure and Accorhotel for employing a deaf person in the restaurant, he did a brilliant job! Great swimming pool and fitness center. Bathrooms are in need of an update!

The stay at le Créolia was just amazing. Everybody was absolutely nice, from the driver of the complementary shuttle from the airport to the hotel, Lucinda at the Bar (always smiling and very nice), Laurence at the restaurant (trainee and an excellent waitress, very nice and smiling), plus the whole team at the restaurant (special thanks to the two ladies who hosted me during the diners at the restaurant during my stay, you know who you are :)) The swimming pool is just AMAZING (they should extend the use until 1O or 11 pm during hot days) and the view to the see is breathtaking. The room was absolutely nice, always clean and tidy, the housekeeper was really charming and helpful! I will recommend this hotel 100%. You won't regret your stay!

I was there for 2 nights for a business trip. It was my 4th stay in Mercure Creolia, i always book this hotel when im going to Reunion Island. The team is very friendly and stable, i always see the same people at the reception, bar, restaurant, and it brings a very unique familiar sensation. I was given a great room with a sea view. Breakfast is excellent and the renovation of the restaurant room is great
