I am a business traveller and the Hotel is for me nicely located. Food at dinner is good yet I found a strong quality decrease at breakfast. The rooms are OK equipped with the basic stuff. Lightning in the room should be improved, it is way to low.

It is always encouraging to receive positive feeback from our clients. However, we are surprised by your comment about our breakfast, as we mainly have changed the presentation compared to pre-Covid time. Without taking to much of your time, could you please tell us more precisely what should be improved and how, according to you. Your feedback is precious, as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our services. To answer your question, as a platinum client, we offered you an upgrade during your last stay, but you could also have asked for a free early check-in or late check-out. In such case, we will do our best to satisfy your demand depending on our availability. For your information, we have already fully renovated 60 out of our 108 rooms, in which the lightning has been improved and more sockets have been added. The remaining rooms will be done by the end of the year. We would be glad to make you discover one of them during your next stay, so that you can appreciate the change. Restaurant experience was ok - magnetique carte not working - electric board in the room 500 extremely noisy pushing me to switch all during the night. Good quality of food and service fast enough

Very helpful staff and nice hotel. The rooms are clean although a little old but on the overall, the hotel is very beautiful, it has a magnificent view of the ocean from the pool and the restaurant is very good!

The hotel provided us a very nice stay for two nights. The room was comfortable and clean, as well as equipped with a very nice bathroom. The restaurant was fantastic and had great and affordable choices, so good we ate there both nights. Staff was very helpful and nice and the pool was also superb. The only downside of this hotel would be the damp, humid hallways. This may be more eco friendly, so it is understood, but the hallways going to rooms were not air conditioned, so a bit uncomfortable, but it was not a big downside.

While the lobby and the courthouse with the pool are smart and quite pleasant, rooms are very small and sad with a bathroom that is even smaller, old-fashioned and pathetic. It looks like a 70s Ibis.... Good restaurant yet expensive as all restaurants in La Reunion.

We have expected to have a great service with is required of titre MERCURE groupe We are not satisfied with their service There is no electricity when I have to go down by the lift which is out of service There was no internet when I needed When we have had the problem of the room which is situated by the under constriction which has started from 7 am we complained to the service and require to do something or change the room They can not propose anything We think we will never stay at this hotel with this price not value with 4 stars hotel

I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations; allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Please note that this problem was a true exception to our normal practices. During your stay, there was indeed a general power cut in our quarter by EDF (the French electricity supplier), which has caused the breakdown of our lifts and of our internet equipment. Our generator took over in a few seconds, but then we had no other choice than wait until our Internet modem restarts. Rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to reduce as much as possible the inconvenience caused in such cases. We are looking forward to welcoming you again at Mercure Creolia. Enjoyable stay, except for the restaurant

Our room was nice and the view was great. Location is wonderful. When we dined at the hotel restaurant, however, there was a band playing in the adjacent banquet area (both outdoors) and it was extremely loud and the play was very amateurish. The food was very tasty and well presented, but the music ruined our dinner. Also, we ordered two glasses of wine, but 10 minutes passed and they didn't come, so we reminded the waiter. Another 10 minutes passed, they still didn't come (we almost finished eating), so we reminded the waiter again, and they finally came. As we were afraid of, he put three pairs (six glasses) on our bill! He took out one pair, but refused to take the second pair, off the bill, for some unknown reason (he didn't say anything, just refused). Finally, the manager came and corrected the bill. Not a very fun experience.
