Bad staff service not warm welcome at all. It’s my first time staying here to celebrate my bday. Didn’t feel warm welcome as a membership. The room and bar are nice excepted reception. Very disappointed from the first stay bad service ever☹️☹️

Room #735 smelled like mould very dirty and old carpet

My room was #735 the room was very smelly strong smell of mould coming from the stained very old carpet, I only saw the big stains when I attempted to move the bed, as we had 2 double beds both were all the way close to the walls and 2 bedside tables placed in the middle next to each other, so I needed to use the electricity outlet on the side of my bed to charge my phone, so I pushed the bed more to the middle and moved one of the side tables to the side of the bed near the wall, that’s when I saw the big stains under the bed, it was a bad experience having to stay 3 nights with that smell, as soon as we open the room door from outside the smell is so strong, I don’t think that the housekeeper didn’t smell that every time they made the room. in the good side they were making our beds every day , changing the towels but never changed the sheets during our 3 nights. At check in I asked the lady who completed our check in about the free drinks vouchers as All Accor member, she advised that we are not eligible as we are classic members, however I previously stayed in that hotel and I was classic member and they provide me with the free drinks I mentioned this to her but she still insisted that we are not eligible. I have complained about the room smell and the free drinks vouchers at check out and I was reimbursed by waving my parking charges, and about the free drinks vouchers I was told from a different lady at check out that I am eligible for the free vouchers and she gave them to me at check out but we were leaving already so we didn’t get to use them. My booking was bed and breakfast included, The Breakfast buffet was good not great verity but was basic breakfast options and never changes, hot(eggs , toast, sausage, beans, bacon, backed tomato, baked potato), cold option's (3 different cereal , milk, 2 cheese, ham, oats, yoghurt, pancakes, syrup and cream), pastries ( 3 different sweet pastries, croissants, banana bread, cupcakes) that all what in the menu for the 3 days I was staying there no changes, the downside was only 1 toaster for the whole restaurant full of people so the lines on the toaster was so long, you should consider at least having another toaster in another location of the restaurant to release the congestion at the toaster line. Also they had 2 coffee machines which was great but they never checked or refilled regularly as often I would wait in a line and then get hot water instead of coffee or hot chocolate as they haven’t refilled them, also there was no option to add milk in the machine or even an extra milk jug next to the machine. Pool was nice the kids enjoyed it and it was clean, but for 2 days in the row I went to reception to get pool towels before we head to the pool and the advise me to come 30 minutes later as all the towels are dirty, then when I went to take them they advised that thay will take $20 deposit until I return the towels back and the recorded my room number and towels quantity I didn’t like that as when we visited the hotel previously we can just leave the dirty towels at a box near the pool which was more convenient with kids, instead of dragging everyone out of the pool to the reception to return the towels. We have tried the room service menu at the pool We ordered kids meals from the kids menu, Fish fingers and chips was decent size fish cocktail it was actually bigger than expected from the name and tasted okay. Mini hotdog again size was decent, taste was good. Spaghetti bolognese was also good portion and it was tasty.

This was our 5th visit here and will definitely be back many more times. Rooms are clean and beds a very comfortable.. Love the bar area but they do take a bit long to make cocktails.. Looking forward to coming back soon
