We stayed in Room 515 last Sept 28, 2023 in this hotel. Very good location, has many restos, shopping mall & stores just nearby and full cover in shower area but tight room space and there was not enough room to open 2 luggages. We noticed visibly the hotel standard was lower than other hotels under the Pullman chain like Parklane in Hong Kong.

We favor Accor whenever and wherever we travel as it gives us peace of mind of the brand and the location they have which is amazing and is in the heart of the city. Pullman is no exception and I was amazed when I was there for the first time with my wife. Excellent reception, good room and breakfast. Evening we ended with a welcome drink which was kindly and called the day off. Second visit in August 2023 decided to go a bit lower and this where things went left. 1. As a courtesy sent an email for late checkout which I was refused saying in need to pay. 2. After reminding my status and some email exchange they agreed. 3. We selected a classic room I guess which was worst than most IBIS hotels 4. Paid and upgraded the room to a Superior room which was much better. I would recommend to be wise and look elsewhere like Hilton etc if you have to pay around 190euros per day If you don’t ind traveling 10 min then Hotel MightyTwice is an exceptional Hotel. Awesome staff. location and area nearby also you can save around 90 euros per night.

However, I am a bit confused and unhappy about your negative rating. My colleague Ms. Keß had been looking forward to your feedback when she had inquired with you personally via email right after your departure. She wanted to reassure herself if you have fully enjoyed your stay with us, since our colleague approached her about the initial difficulties in the beginning. I am as glad as you are that we were able to provide you with the complimentary late check-out and that you and your wife could enjoy the benefits of our superior category. The Pullman Team would be happy to welcome you again in Dresden and meet your expectations again like we did during your first stay.

Centrally located, requires a refurb

Very centrally located hotel, clise to the main train station and great access to shopping district. Easy walk through to many sights and the river. Hotel needs a refurbishment, no kettle in room. Awkward shower in middle of the room requiring the closing of a curtain for privacy. Aircon works well, wifi ok. Beds not very comfortable

I can understand that you missed a kettle but in order to make our hotel even more environmentally friendly, we have decided to provide kettles only from the superior room category upwards. However, we would be happy to bring one to your room during your next visit, just let us know. It's a pity that you didn't quite like our bathroom concept and that you found the beds uncomfortable. As we try to please all our guests as much as possible, we decided on a hardness level 2 for our mattresses. I hope you still enjoyed your stay and we would be happy to welcome you again soon. Don’t waste your money if offered an upgrade

Booked this hotel for location to train station . As Accor member seemed good value and then was offered an upgrade to a superior room at 10 euros extra per night . I accepted the upgrade but shouldn’t have bothered . 20 euros for a bottle of spring water and a queen bed instead of two singles. The room was nothing special on a high floor looking at the train station. The bed was not particularly comfortable and on,y had one very flat pillow each. The shower was in the bedroom with a glass screen and shower curtain. Luckily husband is 5 foot 10 so could actually reach the fridge. I could barely even open the door. The room was just tired looking. Needs a facelift . The blackout curtains need replacing as the blackout material has worn parts and didn’t quite meet so the sun came in anyway. If this was a superior room I wouldn’t like to think what a basic room is like.

In our Classic category, our guests can serve themselves around the clock from the assortment of our Market Place at reasonable, even cheaper prices than in a conventional minibar. From the Superior category onwards, you will also find a bottle of water as well as a minibar in your room and the rooms are on a higher floor than the Classic rooms, from the Deluxe category onwards, the latter is even included when filled and your room is located on the higher floors. If you would like new or more pillows, you can always contact our reception. It is a pity that we could not quite satisfy you with the sanitary area. This architectural solution was deliberately chosen to make the rooms appear visually larger and transparent. Nevertheless, I can understand your feelings. Perhaps our double-sized Junior Suite with separate bathroom area as well as shower and bathtub is something for your next visit to Dresden. Regarding the curtains, I can happily share, that this issue has been solved due to buying new ones. If you decide to give us another chance, I would be more than happy to ensure a more pleasant and satisfying stay.
