Me and my 3 friends stayed in a family room for our 3 day trip. The room was very nice and had all the necessary facilities. The location us also very good as it is right next to Amsterdam Centraal and there is a tram stop outside the station. Most of the attractions are walkable from the hotel. The lobby downstairs also has a small shop with anemities however it is a bit overpriced. My friends also had issues with the WiFi connection (although mine was fine but they have iPhone and I use Android). Our room also looked out onto the train tracks of Amsterdam Centraal which was a little strange but we just kept the curtain closed the whole time so it was really a problem. The staff were also friendly.

Perfect location, super friendly staff, room was ideal comfy and cosy, only thing is our bathroom seemed extra small compared to when I stayed last, but for a few days stay was absolutely fine!

Just what you’d expect from an Ibis Hotel!

You come out of the station and the Ibis is just a minutes walk on your right. Perfect as very convenient. Quick check in. Room was advertised as ‘cosy’ and it certainly was! Very small room with insufficient storage space for 4 nights. Breakfast as alway had a good choice of food and was well presented. Bar area pleasant. The room cleaning strategy seemed a bit bizarre as it was being cleaned at 5pm when we returned on the second day and the cleaner on the following day came even later when we were already in the room so we told her not to bother. On another evening it was cleaned when we’d gone out in the evening although the toilet hadn’t been cleaned and the cups hadn’t been replaced. Not a huge problem for us but it seemed strange. We’ve returned to Ibis hotels many times and have always found them good value for money.

The central location was perfect, close to the station with its many amenities including food, and close to the toutist activities and pick up points. Initially very confusing as the hotel reception appears to be a bar convenience shop. With a number of pepole standing around the location of check in desks was not apparent. We saw other people with the same problem. Breakfast price is unrealistic.
