The room size is indeed small; even very small, but remarkably it has it all. Sleeping comfort is very good! Bathroom requires some precaution during your visit for its size but once acquainted with the dimensions and the obstacles it is all what you need: good shower, hand washbasin even in adapted shape, toilet, etc. But the breakfast is absolutely unmatched! You have to see it to believe... I never saw something similar in Belgium. Tasty delicious items, fruit, eggs, bacon, cheese, all is there in the best possible shape and quality! Only this convinces you to stay at IBIS! The bar and the reception in the lobby are also well taken care of. Delicious draft beers, appetizers, cava, wine, booze... all is there! And the location could not be better. This is the commercial heart of Ghent. Near Korenmarkt, Veldstraat, university (where I finished my engineering studies)... Parking space in front of the Hotel in the Savaanstraat, barely 100 meters walking. Enjoy the good things. Forget the size; size doesn't really matter!

Absolutely ideal hotel for our girls weekend away in Ghent. Great location - about 5 minute stroll to the cathedral and squares. The room was very small but modern, clean with everything you’d need for a short stay. There’s a lovely bar downstairs complete with table football - we got free nibbles with our drinks. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. Would recommend for a weekend break and would definitely return.
