Met up with 4 old friends and we had a room each. Excellent location in central Antwerp with lots to see and do within walking distance, including the main Train Station, Cathedral, Museums, Mas Tower and hub for local tram and bus travel. Neat compact rooms, ideal for a single traveller and acceptable for couples. Good choices for breakfast. Efficient lifts. Great staff.

As a group of four older guests we were welcomed and helped in a very friendly manner by the reception staff. The rooms are small, but they are well-equipped. The breakfast was plentiful and varied.

We had an amazing stay at Ibis. Out of all the reviews we had been reading of the hotels in Antwerp, this hotel definitely is still operating beautifully and is maintained constantly. Gorgeous location, nice outside area for smokers or just to sit and relax with a cup of coffee. Across the road from restaurants, shops, etc. Very close the the Tram (Meir and Opera). Very clean. Only 8/10 because it would have been nice to atleast have a complimentary coffee or tea voucher (or facilities to be able to make your own), perhaps a small fridge and microwave would also be nice? The rooms are quite small so it might not be practical to have these appliances in the rooms, but perhaps make the option available at the kitchen? Overall, if you just need a place to sleep (very very cosy!) and wash up, then this is your hotel!!!

As usual, a pleasant experience staying at this property

However, we regret to hear that the breakfast selection on Saturday morning did not meet your expectations. Additionally, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by the water from the air conditioning unit. We understand the importance of a comfortable and efficient stay, and we strive to provide our guests with the best experience possible. Furthermore, we note your question regarding our use of plastic key cards. We are continuously working on improving our sustainability efforts and will take your feedback into consideration as we evaluate alternatives that align with our environmental goals. For the moment our primary concern with wooden key cards is their real sustainability: they break more often + their RFID is less efficient. Nevertheless, we are pleased that our central location added value to your stay, providing convenient access to the many attractions Antwerp has to offer.
