A Solo - Confirmed reviews ALL

Hotel is poorly located outside the walls and well away from the main entrance. You’re better off staying at the Ibis at the actual station for location. Rooms are old looking, think popcorn stucco, and poorly designed. Why are the bathrooms so small? There was also a strange sewage smell by afternoons. Cleaning is sometimes done, sometimes not. Even if it is done, there is a general feeling of grime in the hotel, probably because it looks so dated. My main annoyance with this hotel is that they charged/held my card 3 days before I arrived, even though I booked with payment on arrival. On top of that, they then charged me when I arrived. They have not released the hold on the money they took before my arrival either so they’re just holding €500 without responding to any of my requests to release the funds. The contact centre on the Accor app has also been unresponsive. Don’t stay here.

We are sorry that you find that we are poorly located 10-15 minutes walk from the heart of the city. Our rooms were renovated at the beginning of 2024, once again I am sorry that the decoration is not to your taste. Finally, even on the day of your departure you made no comments on this subject, why ? Is it more satisfying to leave a bad comment rather than trying to find solutions ? What a great location being across the street from the medieval ramparts of this historic city. Walking distance to everything. However, the rooms are beyond tiny. How they fit a bathroom into the corner of this space is amazing. Tiny shower and half a sink. Tight for two people. Only place to put a suitcase was at the door. Clean, on the modern side. Breakfast was enough to get you going in the morning. Good value for location.
