Paul, the bellman was the most incredible. Personal greeting every time we walked by. Checkin, personally walked us to our junior sweet and the room was spacious, clean and cool. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The room was extremely cold when arrived. Pillows are hard and very thick. difficult to sleep. Shower does not have an enclosure while room overall seems a bit tired and need maintenance. Negatively surprised considering the average pricing per night and the brand of the hotel

Have stayed in Paris, many times, but had never even walked past this Sofiitel which is unbelievably well located to many monuments and luxury shopping. The entire experience was exceptional, from the service to the decor, to the food. Prepare to do a lot of walking because the hotel is basically 15 minutes away from everything in every direction.

Beautiful hotel - loved the restaurant and breakfasts. Loved the safe in the room and the coffee set up. Lots of closet space. Our only complaint was that the bathroom in our room was so small and the lights were a bit confusing.

1) We had fully paid the hotel reservation. The hotel cancelled on us and gave us a very bad room under the roof. 2) We left the hotel at 6am and returned at 1.30pm and the room had not yet been cleaned. In general the staff of all departments was attentive which made up for the overall poor experience.

We splurged on a nice room for our trip to Paris. Overall, our room was nice but the toilet room was not up to standards. Toilet holder was hanging off the wall and it felt tired overall. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine from you but it took an hour to have a corkscrew sent up. Finally, we had no idea that our cab could not drop us directly at your hotel on the day of the Pope. We had a 45 minute walk through huge crowds dragging our suitcases, and that was very difficult for me. I feel that you should have given us fair warning about that.

The suite upgrade was well appreciated and the room was spacious, but the bathroom was cramped and the shower very small/low for a tall individual. The hotel itself did not have any comfortable common areas - the restaurant was loud and cafeteria-like and the bar was not inviting. The hotel is located on a quiet street with security restrictions so you do not get a neighbourhood feel and need to walk to get to a more typical Paris area.

We had another lovely stay at the Sofitel Paris le Faubourg. There was a problem with the hair salon booking as the salon is no longer on the property. Both the concierge and the salon owner handled the issue well: however, this sort of snafu should not happen at the Sofitel and I should have been contacted in advance. I was very happy with how it was handled though and appreciated the service and concern.
