The location of the hotel was excellent. The roof terrace by the pool is a really nice place to rest between city tours. Breakfast just fine, but nothing world class. Price / quality does not meet. The biggest negative thing was the junior suite bed. The bed was really hard, even the floor would have been softer to sleep on, thanks to the carpet.

Overall satisfied, but disappointed that our benefits like welcome drink is now only for cardholder not for the total persons that the stay is booked for. Cheap withdrawal by Accor hotels and so little amounts that makes a stay little more worth.

I had an issue with a covid travel swab and asked reception to help as my French is limited. The receptionist who helped was so nice, competent and supportive. Made a stressful situation feel less so.

Huge disappointement for a 4 star hotel.

It was literally our worst Accor experience so far. The receptionists were unpolite even arrogant, and unfortunately their behaviour was based majorly on your "room category". Extremely not ethical especially in hospitality management. The only nice thing is the location of the hotel. Overall the hotel needs renovation for sure, especially the rooms. The lobby looks fine, also the top roof bar. They have a garden which needs proper maintenance. We have asked for a deposit of 50 euros per night, which we have provided of course. When I asked what is the purpose of the deposit, it was explained to me that this is in case we use the minibar and to make the check out smoother. All good so far with the explanation, but once we have entered the room there was nothing in that "minibar", which was not working at all. When there are amenities which are not working, it is expected to kind a replacement to be in place. In our situation the very old hairdresser in the bathroom was not working, when I asked the reception for another one - the first answer was, there is nothing we can do. After some discussions with different receptionist, we were provided with another one. This kind of things should not be even discussed, if something is not working - you are just replacing it.

Great place to stay in Nice and reasonably priced. Centrally located with a lovely roof top bar and pool. Staff were excellent in bar and at reception. Rooms cleaned daily. We took the privilege room with balcony which made a real difference. Parking is next door so very convenient although expensive even with discount. Great trip!

5 nights stay, +: Good location. Cleaning staff is really nice and fast to make the room properly. -: Obtained a lower floor room while check-in around 3 pm as been told the hotel was fully booking. No sufficient food when arrived at 9:15 am for breakfast even many people continued to come in till 10am. During the high season with so many foreign tourists, the global quality of service is average compared to other seashore Mercure hotels in France according to my personal experience.

Disappointing stay

We had a twin room and to be honest it was really small with rock hard beds and poor Air Con. No water in the room but there was a fridge. The breakfast was 15€ and just wasn’t worth it. The choice was not good. The pool area is very small with limited seating if the beds are taken you couldn’t get close. I wouldn’t stay again there are better hotels in Nice at a similar price.

Very good hotel located steps away of the main pedestrian street and commercial avenue. Got a privilege room which was nice but somehow giving the feeling to be smaller as other room we could see during the cleaning time on the same floor. As Accor member, we are asked to complete a profile which for me the room location says near the elevator.. I got the very last room away from the elevator 😋. Breakfast was chaotic for the 2 days I stayed due to the room partly closed and not accessible for guest. I like to enjoy my breakfast quietly and not necessarily forced to be squeezed between other guests. Buffet was missing some items. No more pancake at 09.00 when the breakfast last until 11.00

Fantastic location of hotel - out the front door and onto the main street for some XMAS shopping! Lots of shops and restaurants - and a nice brisk walk of 15minutes to the beach - or just jump onto the tram
