The staff were very helpful. The lobby is beautiful and cozy. The only downside was comfort- bed very squeaky every time you move/turn. It has a metal base which needs lubricating. There was some workmen doing the lifts as well even in the evenings. I still would recommend this hotel

The mattress was hard and unforgiving. The breakfast service was poor and poorly presented. Some jams were empty. Couldn't find a medium size plate. Staff smiled nicely but really didn't seem bothered. Used tables were not being cleared and reset. It took me 45 minutes to call a taxi. Communication about this with reception desk was poor. She was talking to the taxi company but not letting me know what was going on. I had to demand information and eventually walked out and called my own uber.

The room was next to the elevator, so I could hear it going up and down. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to rest, but thankfully the elevator has limited usage time.

This was our second stay here, chosen mainly due to its very practical central location. Our room (classic, with double bed) served the purpose for our short stay, but could be challenging for a longer visit. The bed was OK but not the most comfortable. Also, it would take the hot water 10 minutes each time to heat up! However, the reception staff was great, as was the daily housekeeping. A reliable choice, all in all.
