Had a great stay at NDH. Close to shops casino fish markets. Nice stroll across pyrmont Bridge to city centre. Great views of harbour from room. Executive room was quite large in size and made the stay very comfortable. Great breakfast selection.

We had a very enjoyable time at this hotel. The team of staff here are great and a big shoutout to Elijah for his customer service at check in! We enjoyed the great room view he allocated us. Will definitely look at staying here again.

Location - perfect, unless you get the Harbour view. The other side is not worth, which by the has to be asked for. Andrew, hotel manager, was great in taking my request for a better room. I was offered an upgrade at a cost, which I was ready to pay for the Harbour View. It would have been great if I could have got a balcony attached to my room.

Great location and decent rooms but service has much to be desired. No room cleaning unless requested. Food served on plastic plates and cutlery. Bar staff extremely rude and dont want any customers. Over the top mask edict throughout the hotel. Only 1 deflated pillow each per bed. Food from room service edible at best. Avoid this hotel until they realise they are now servicing paying guests instead of government arranged quarantine arrivals.

I did not know what to expect. I stay at this hotel a couple of times a year. It is my favourite Sydney hotel. I should have enquired as to what services were available. The restaurant was closed as well as the bar. any food or beverage was room service only. these are difficult times. I hope things improve soon. Sydney and Darling harbour was virtually deserted. It is difficult to rate when because I Know what it is like in the good times. We felt like we were the only ones in the Hotel. No staff at reception on departure. the hotel felt deserted.

Not quite the experience we expected

A reasonable experience but requires qualification: 1. We found the bed of lesser quality than other hotels even though we were told it was supposed to be a new bed; 2. I ordered a steak in the restaurant that arrived far from hot off the grill - luke warm. I had to send it back.

Firstly like to thank Joshua I think he was the duty manager on he up graded us to a suits which had like a balcony which was great been we were smokers he also gave us free parking and free breakfast even though bus load of people would arrive from the airport cause they had self quarantine for 2 weeks we still had a great time they done a great job separating those guest from us which was good it was unfortunate the restaurant were shut and pool and spa were closed we still had a great time there would I stay there again yes also they look after us as we were Accorplus members

I asked for a room with a view and got it, which was great. Staff were all pleasant to deal with. One problem was that when I booked I gave my credit card but explained that another credit card would be used to pay. She said that was fine as it was a holding deposit. However on check in I was told that the money had already been taken off my card. Otherwise a good stay.

We had a lovely stay at the Novotel Sydney on Darling Harbour. The staff were great from the check in staff, waiters in the Restaurant and the cleaners. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and the following morning for breakfast. The food was very yummy on both occasions. We used the tennis court and gym facilities at the hotel. Great location very close to Darling Harbour and also other restaurants if you want to venture outside of the hotel. We were lucky enough to get an upgrade with Darling Harbour views which was very welcomed. Our only issue was when we checked-in we advised the staff member that we parked in the Wilson Car Park which is next door to the hotel and asked about the cost of parking. They advised the cost would be $59, we asked if we had to move our car to another area to only pay the $59. The staff member advised it would be ok to leave our car where we had parked it and when we check out we would pay the hotel direct the $59 and they would give us a new car park ticket to exit. As we arrived at the car park at approximately 11am on the Saturday and didn't leave the hotel until 2pm the following day (as we asked for late check out) we had exceeded the 24 hour period to get the $59 parking fee. So on leaving the car park we had to pay an additional $27. As the staff member who checked us in did know that we were having late check out it might be a suggestion to advise guests that if they exceed the 24 hours to either move their car to the Novotel's car park or advise if you leave your car in the Wilson's car park that you will be charged an extra cost. Other than that little issue everything was 100% thanks.

Decent room AC didn’t work well

The room was clean and well kept. Everything in the room itself was in what appeared to be new condition. Our room was warm so I had the AC on and it never changed temperature even when It dropped it to below 20c outside our room felt hot. It was warmer in our room then the hall or outside. The bathrooms need a make over to be more modern. There appeared to be dirt on thr roof and between the tiles in the bathroom. Im platinum with Marriott and was with Hilton for several years and I’d only give the room a 3/5.

I stayed for 4 nights as a working crew member for United Airlines and I couldn’t be happier with my stay. From the moment that the crew arrived we were treated so well by Joshua. He made sure that all our rooms were on the same two floors and, where possible, we were given amazing harbour views. This is such a treat, particularly on stays longer than 1 night. My room was very comfortable—clean, quiet, well-appointed and spacious. Because of the emerging COVID-19 we all ate all meals in the Ternary or in our rooms and the food and service were outstanding. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and Joia (spelling?), the pastry chef, went above and beyond making different vegan desserts for me every evening! A huge shout out too to Garry and Joseph at the coffee bar/bar, Helen at the bar and our Ternary server, Lachlan. My boyfriend lives in Sydney and he joined me each evening after work. He too was impressed all around at the Novotel.

You did offer the best rooms in your hotel, rooms did have most beautiful views, were clean and comfortable. Happy hour was very much appreciated, after a long day of sight seeing. Dinner was also very good, good selection of for us all. Children menu was also welcomed, especially THE PIZZAS, colouring in and various cross words also very good.
