I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions over the years for both business and pleasure trips It is very convenient to the airport and NEC and very comfortable. The rooms are recently refurbished and fabulous. Spacious and comfortable. The bar and restaurant and good. Good food at the restaurant. My only complaints would be that a few breakfast staff were unhelpful and ignorant. I’m guessing that’s down to youth and inexperience and poor training. Evening staff were complete opposite. On check-in I was informed that “due to Covid” housekeeping would not be as frequent as usual. I checked in on Monday afternoon, left on Thursday morning and not once did housekeeping attend to my room. I was to be fair informed that if I wanted clean towels etc I should ask at reception, but come on, isn’t this a cop out and just an excuse for poor service? I’m sure I’ll stay at the hotel again for the very reasons set out at the start of my review but I do wish the service sector would hurry up and get those people back to work and return to the service that clients deserve and pay for.

We arrived early and we had plenty of space at the quiet restaurant lobby to work, great Wi-Fi connectivity, the F&B Staff was on top of us without being disruptive. The room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. The overnight Front Desk manager saw me having a hard time wandering around the lobby not being able to sleep and he gave me a cup of coffee and milk that sent me straight to bed. to summarize, tis is the best airport hotel that I have ever stayed at. Well done!!!

I specifically booked over the phone to ensure I could book a big enough room with access to a bath (I am unable to use the shower due to my disability). I was incorrectly told that if I paid for a more expensive "accessible room" that some of them have baths. Arrived at the hotel to find that none of the accessible rooms regardless of price had baths in them. Although the hotel tried to resolve the situation by refunding the difference of the cost from a standard room to the more expensive room I booked and also by providing us 2 rooms for our stay. One small room that has a bath and an accessible room. However, I found that the bath did not have any grab rails to safely get in and out. This meant I was unable to have a wash when I stayed except out of the sink. Due to how the sinks are built regardless of room, it is difficult to be able to put the in-room kettle under the tap to fill to make tea and had to fill the glass provided to fill it. The ceiling of the accessible room provided was covered in the paint bubbling and cracking. The only positives was that the bed was comfortable, room was clean, good tv and access to the airport literally across the road and good access to get to NEC centre by AirRail. Even though the hotel is in such close proximity to the airport, the room we stayed in was clearly soundproofed as we didn't hear anything outside. Also really good breakfast options and something for everyone and enjoyed. *Please note if using a manual wheelchair, it is a steep ramp to access the hotel entrance but easy to get around hotel itself and plenty of space in the restaurant.

Staff attentive and very polite. Room was perfect for our needs with all the facilities needed at hand. Reasonable priced evening menu which was well presented and generous portion.

Very good. Only disappointment was lack of service for dinner. It was very much hunt the waiter/ waitress. They did drift around but no eye contact at all. We asked for dessert menus but nobody followed up to take the order. It was a shame because the staff were all very pleasant
