as a regular visitor of Abidjan I have been in many hotels and Pullman is by far my favorite. the staff is welcoming and polite and expedite check in and out procedures. rooms are clean. Also the gym is not so bad.

I arrived Pullman after Ibis unilateral cancellation of my reservation because they had more appreciated customers (even my booking was securd by credit card and I'm gold member of Accor). The experience is Pullman was good as expected for the range of hotel, but beeing about 200 nights yearly in hotel price is not always suitable.

I think Abidjan has better hotels which are newer and much more comfortable in my opinion. It rained when I was leaving the hotel and the architecture of pullman abidjan makes it compulsory that you get wet while leaving the lobby and trying to get into a vehicle. also, the cooling system in the lobby and restaurant seem to need servicing as it was really warm compared to the rooms. Apart from the breakfast, eating in the restaurant is a hassle. Lets not even talk about the long waiting time to be served meals or to be given the bills to pay.

I went to Adiraja for work meetings and this was my first stay at the Pullman. The room had a gorgeous view of the room, that is about the only good feature. The hotel is dated, though they did try to renovate the rooms, taking out the file carpet covering all of the hallways. If now only the hotel managed to clean the floors, that would be something. One pass door to bed and the soles of the feet were black. Sunday morning at 8am cleaning barged into my room and when I dared to complaint informed I should have pu the “do not disturb” sign out. Suffice to say they did not clean my room before noon for the remainder of my stay. The lobby, bar and terrace are nice enough, but unusable on a Sunday as the crowd from the brunch hosted in the main restaurant is boisterous and due to it being all open floor, one is part of the crowd if one does not retire to one’s room. The pool is nice enough but to get to and from it, one has to parade through the restaurant, past anyone who happens to be there. But worst is probably the incompetence of the front desk. I had requested a wake up call and booked an airport transfer for my departure (a 4:00am flight) and reconfirm both twice the night before departure, well neither the wake up call happened not had a transfer be arranged causing me to almost miss my flight and scrambling to find a taxi at 2:30am. Never again
