pent three nights here on a trip to Italy and the weather was very wet and atrocious for the whole time and made the building look very old from the outside and not great, but I always tell myself you should never judge a book by it's cover, so I didn't. I collected my key at 3.30pm having checked in on-line earlier and got a text at 2.01pm to tell me that my room on the first floor (asked for high floor but didn't get) was ready. I collected my key, got in the (old) elevator and made my way to my room. Wheeling my case across the corridors I was staggered to find a cleaner instantly berating me down the corridors for wheeling my case along the ground, seemingly suggesting she just cleaned it and I should carry the case, not the greatest of welcomes. Anyway, I got in the room, which had a very small window and had the smell of bleach and was very warm. The air conditioning didn't work and the window opened to a view of pipes and little else. The design was very much retro IBIS, with a poor square TV, one plug socket in whole room and probably the cheapest looking safe I've seen, not even a screen to confirm the numbers you just set, if you mistyped them, you'd be in trouble! The bathroom wasn't great. I had two toilet rolls, about 1/4 left on each which is quite odd, and the shower/bath combination unit was broken. Normally you can lift the knob fully up or down to direct water flow to shower/bath, but whatever I did, the majority of water always came out of the bath tap and the shower had very little pressure. From reading reviews here, it seems that this is a common issue here. I cannot honestly say I would be back here, unfortunately they failed on many of the basics and when any hotel does that, the chances of me ever returning are close to zero. The hotel needs refurbishment and some proper care taken over the rooms

Long back complementary water and toiletries were provided, this should maintain the tradition and this will make Accor brand different than others! In this competitive world, how to keep their customer becoming very complex task? But by doing little will make the customer felt home and return!

Clean, close to the city but the rooms are too dark

Everything was perfect except the rooms being too dark maybe. It just gives you a moody, sad feeling. Also maybe the showers shouldn't be tubs. But closeness of it to the metro and to the city center was perfect. Overall it was perfectly fine.

hi . it was a nice experience. it was just unfortunate that i had to cut my stay because i had an emergency. I was hoping to get a reimbursement for the lost days since i did not stay for the rest of 4 days .. or perhaps I could use the days in another time.

The parking and arrive area organised in a bad way. Parking on the street too small. Lot's of guest who were very loud at 11 p.m. at 3 a.m. at 5 a.m. It was hard to sleep.

Price was jacked up at check in (extra person) and when i requested the cancellation of breakfast in order to reduce the price, they told me at check out. At checkout they only refunded me for what i paid as already. Basically getting the maximum and basically telling me that my membership isnt worth anything

Friendly staff, but they didn´t know my Gold-Member-Status and wanted to withdraw the full amount from my credit card. I had to explain the payment with points again (like it was written in my reservation already). Clean room´s, but new fittings are necessary in the bathroom. The breakfast was sufficiently with good coffee machines. The windows have no soundproofing, but for one night with a cheap rate it was tolerable. You have to be prepared, that from midnight no subway runs, not even on weekends :-(... -

Room was clean and nice to receive a free bottle of water, the breakfast was good enough. Just only thing it was a pity that we had a room just in front of elevators which were making quite big noise.... We couldn't sleep well.

No air conditioner despite accor plus apps said it have. Not even a bottle of water given. No air conditioner so I need to open the window and my room facing the main road. I can’t sleep because I can hear people pulling luggage and car passing through.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. room was basic with no surprises, a typical ibis room. the distance from the sites of downtown Milan, was further than expected, but easy access to metro was helpful after a weary day of sightseeing.

Our room was clean and comfortable. The WiFi was fine. We had to wait ages to check in even though we had checked in online, with no apology offered. We only saw that one member of reception staff our whole stay. One of us at dinner in the restaurant (as the other person was not feeling well), and it was okay. The waiter was friendly. The cobbled driveway outside our room made cars arriving late at night sound very loud.
