Stayed over for Tottonians. Dinner was average at best... I did pre authorisation for fast check-in it was anything but that. The man at the counter was offhand bordering on rude and positively slow in all respects. He eventually got some help who realised all was ok with my pre authorisation

Originally booked in the ibis next door but was transferred due to over booking. Great position for the cruise terminal I was using next day. Public areas were good, staff in the bar were great reception staff very helpful. The room itself was a bit rundown very tired looking, have stayed in Novotels before and this was nowhere near the quality I was expecting. I would have been very disappointed if I'd paid the Novotel price.

My family and I have stayed in Novotel on several occasions. The location was great and the staff friendly and efficient. The room rate was expensive and the breakfast charge was ver high. I was disappointed that there was no way to contact Reception as there were no tea bags in the room but we were already ready for bed and did not want to get dressed again to go down
