Hotel staff at reception were pleasant and efficient with registration on arrival. Room was clean but was tired and very bland . Breakfast was very good however

We always stay at the Ibis, as it is central to everything we need to see. A little walk and you in the heart of everything. The staff are always friendly and nothing is to much for them. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable. We will continue to come the Brugge and stay at the Ibis.

On our first night one member of staff at the hotel bar was very clearly purposefully ignoring the non-white member of our party's attempts to order drinks, while taking orders from other (white) guests arriving after them. This horrendous display of racism soured the start of our holiday. On the other hand other members of staff were great. Particularly, the reception staff on our last day was very kind in allowing us to sit in the hotel lounge for a few hours after checking-out and bring us tap water, as a member of our party was feeling unwell.
