We enjoyed staying in the hotel, it is in a great location, 10-15 min to main points of the city and the room is ver comfortable. The team working there is also very nice. Thanks for the early check in, the Flight arrived before noon and they were able to get a room for us, thanks!

I enjoyed my stay. Rooms were clean. Staff were friendly but sometimes didn’t know places or things to do. Had a problem with water leaking in room and as soon as staff found out on second day they moved us and offered a breakfast complimentary. Overall happy with stay.

Great location, room was fine 2 problems: Text message before arrival was completely misleading. Advised to take either tram 16 or 24 from central station. 16 no longer runs since metro built in 2019 & 24 is diverted in 1/20, already bought ticket. 30 mins wasted i was also asked to pay twice, once on booking in 12/19 & a 2nd time on checking-in online Still awaiting notification of reimbursement

We have indeed forgotten to adjust our SMS information service after the changes in the public transport system of Amsterdam. Since all these features are going automatically we were not aware of the miscommunication. My sincere apologies for this and many thanks for bringing this to our attention. We have changed it immediately. Furthermore I checked with my colleague about the double payment, however we didn't find any double charge on your credit card. It could be that we have made an authorization on your card, a kind of reservation, and a payment. In that case it might be resolved now. Otherwise please do not hesitate to contact us, it is certainly not our intention to charge you more than we have agreed. Hotel was well maintained and quite modern. Great location as it was not too far to walk to Downtown or to Metro or Trams.

Very nice treatment by people in reception and breakfast restaurant. Nice location, expected to be execellent in spring and summertime, close to old town. Breakfast restaurant very well organized. My single room was below expectation to the price. Especially the bathroom need a make over.

On checking in on the 1st of jan 2020, both the girls at the reception were amazing. After i checked out on the 3rd all was good until i discovered when i reached France, that my master card was charged €100.00 for parking charges. I arrived by taxi on the 1st and departed by taxi arranged by the hotel on the 3rd. Thus has lowered my opinion of the staff involved in such a practice. After calling the hotel twice from france, they have now confirmed to me a refund to my credit card for €100.00, which i expect to receive by monday.

It can be best described as a "home-away-from-home" welcome provided us on our latest visit plus the gracious amenities. Call-outs to Marjolein, Abdi, and Martina at the front desk, to Maria, Hatech (sp.?), and Jose in the breakfast room, and to the charming and helpful new young man who tends the lounge.

It’s a room I guess. Not sure how it got a 4 star rating. Room had outdated and run down furniture and it was a little dirty. It wasn’t cozy to say the least. Needs an upgrade!

Good rooms, location ok, but could do a recycle on staff of breakfast and room service too. The room service isnt able to answer a simple “ good morning “ , as the way with the breakfast staff. A really good place to stay should have a light and happy atmosphere ..

Lovely stay in the Mercure Amsterdam Centre Canal District. Amazing front office staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. The hotel is in the center of Amsterdam. You can go anywhere by foot or by the public transport

The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Our beds were comfortable and the room was clean. We were also well away from traffic noise. If I have any complaint, it would be that the breakfast on offer was very expensive. On the other hand, there was a nearby cafe where we were well fed and could watch life in the city.
